Couldnt' agree more with other reviewers, this is a great place to stay when visiting Newcastle and Laraine is the ideal hostess. Wonderful brekky. After two nights we moved to Newcastle's poshest (?) hotel (paid for by the conference my husband was attending) and our room was not half as well equipped (at twice the cost) as ours at Hamilton... more

We stayed two nights with Laraine and Colin and were upgraded to a large room with a spa bath and then another little bedroom with a bunk bed, which we didn't use. I think they were decorating one of the other rooms at the time, so we were offered this one, and we were more than happy. We didn't see... more

It was a perfect stay, from arrival to departure. The breakfast is worth the stay & the company is the icing on top. I stayed for one night & would have liked to stay longer. I'll definitely be back. more

We stayed at this place only one night in the Hobbit room but would have stayed longer if our travels required it. Colin and Laraine were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning filled us up for our long road trip ahead. The stained glass in the doors and windows are beautiful and there was ample street parking out... more

we picked the Hamilton Heritage from our Rough Guide and it was excellent. We had a nice room, not massive but fine. After a good nights sleep in a very comfy bed we had the most enormous breakfast, enough to set you up for the rest of the day. The people were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. more

I stayed at Hamilton Heritage with my boyfriend last year when I was visiting him as he was spending a year in Australia. Laraine and Colin went out of their way to be helpful and make us feel comfortable - Colin picked us up from the train station and they were happy to give advice on places to visit. The... more

We booked Hamilton Heritage based on previous reviews and were not dissapointed, from start to finish we had a thoroughly pleasurable experience. The owners Colin and Laraine were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room itself was fine and clean with great tea and coffee facilities, and the choice and quality... more

I stayed for 4 nights. They are Very friendly owners who would do anything for you. This place is pet friendly and my puppy and I were welcomed with open arms. After my accomodation had fallen through 2 nights before I was due to stay at Hamilton Heritage B & B, I phoned them and they were more than helpful... more

What a find the Hamilton Heritage B & B is. As the name implies, this is a Federation style home with 3 bedrooms for hire. The hosts are just the right blend of welcoming but not intruding. The prices are very reasonable, with discounts for longer stays. Breakfast is made to order, delicious and abundant. Use of the kitchen, dining... more

I stayed in the bed and breakfast during October 2005. Great B&B which has so much character and a great homely feel to it. The hosts Laraine and Colin went out of their way to make you feel welcome, and being a single traveller to Australia they recommended the best places to go in Newcastle. The rooms in the B&B... more
