I recently stayed at Crown Plaza in Newcastle for an overnight business trip. Check in was fantastic and I was offered all the complimentary specifics including free Internet during my stay and upgraded to a city view city room, where I was originally booked in a city room (I wonder what the difference was). Valet took my car for a... More

Stayed at this hotel with a friend mid-week. Loved the ambience, decor and the abundance of light in the common areas. Our room was on the first floor. I was expecting a normal hotel room but when we opened the door I was very pleasantly surprised to find a living area separate from the bedroom area. The sunlight just poured... More

Stayed one night in superior suite. Would have expected larger room, definitely not for family. Suitable for a couple or business travel. Overall appearance and style of the hotel is nice and sophisticated.

The hotel is in an excellent locastion especially if you have a river front room. Lots of activity on the river with ships, tugboats, rowers etc. The suite I had was dated and over priced. Room service food was reasonable but breakfast was sumptous and healthy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We've stayed a couple of times now, and are always impressed. The rooms and hotel facilities are great quality and while it's a little pricey, the service is excellent and it's in such a good location there's nowhere else in Newcastle we'd rather stay.

Yet another trip back to Crowne Plaza for work purposes. Very pleased it is a preferred supplier as it is a comfortable place to stay and nice and centrally located. They have a great restaurant inside, but there is also a raft of restaurants along the waterfront to try. Had a city view this time. I much prefer the water... More

Just a one nighter on business and this is a business hotel. Functional comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff. I'm not paying the bill but what I question is the value for money. Almost $250 for a room only and we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. Ridiculously overpriced food to be frank which was delivered warm not hot. 3 tiny... More

From the moment we arrived it was fantastic. Friendly courteous staff, valet parking and super easy check in. Room was clean, spacious and airy. All public areas were well furnished and clean. Location in Newcastle is perfect, walking distance to everything. Views of the harbour. We wanted to stay longer!

Stayed here recently with the wife. Booked a water view room. A good size with a separate bedroom. The room was clean and tidy and had a lovely view of the river.
