This pub was a walk from my B&B so I decided to try it out for dinner. Ended up going back 3 nights in a row as it was great. The staff is brilliant, friendly & very helpful. Portions are good, food fresh & not long to be served. Nice friendly atmosphere & large enough not to feel crowded in.

Been here a couple of times and will come back again. It has a wonderful deck overlooking the ocean and is generally packed on a sunny weekend. Large umbrellas give you plenty of protection from the sun and elements. Cant remember exactly what I had but I do remember that we all enjoyed our meals. Definitely worth checking out. If... More

We had tried another place for lunch and were bitterly disappointed when they could not accommodate us.... Beaches to the rescue! Lovely helpful staff, superb view, great food! We will certainly be returning!

I would have gone elsewhere if I did not want to be close to a family member that lives nearby. The Hotel looks great from the street or online and the idea continues in the public bar areas. The ground floor has had significant sums spent on refurbishing it and it shows. It is a great pub for watching the... More

A lovely location with fabulous views! We spent the afternoon here and enjoyed the view and food. I had the mussels in a creamy sauce and they were amazing!! Yum, my mouths watering just thinking about it!

It's such a great location, wonderful rooftop deck, and food downstairs is terrific, BUT the accommodation is very ordinary - they could do so much yet there's been no effort whatsoever. Basic rooms are fine but not for $95 a night, windows that don't open, fan that barely works, and taps that only produce hot water, not cold. They promote... More

Stayed for 3 nights in late May 12, and had a wonderful time. Only 8 rooms, which are small but clean and tidy. Huge guest lounge an deck overlooking the beach. The Cafe in the Hotel was very good food at a variety of price points. Staff all young friendly, and will be staying there again next month.

Stayed here with a colleague in Feb 2012. We both got covered in bedbug bites. Management not apologetic. Even without the bedbugs would not stay again. Even for pub rooms they are bad, not clean, whole place stinks. It's a pity because the location is great.
