I reside in Carrington and am having family come to visit for a family function. I viewed pictures on the Maison de May (gorgeous) on Wotif but the dates I chose were not in service on the web as I need to book for Feb 14. Since I reside one street away I knocked on the door to ask if... More

We didn't book here because it was $30 more than the wotif prominently advertised price. Sure, once go into booking it, it states $30 extra for a total of 2 people. I find this misleading and you have lost our business because of it.

I can sympathise with the review by the Queenslanders. We booked the Paris room the day before. We arrived at the agreed time and found our keys at a point round the side of the house with our name on. It was only looking at the room next to the kitchen and realising it matched the description that we knew that... More

Going by the title it does seem very confusing. So, I will give the positives first and then the negatives. Firstly, my husband and I are in the hospitality industry and run accommodation full time. We went to this establishment during our leave. Being in the industry we like to give any feedback during our stay personally to the managers... More

We stayed in the Chateau Spa Suite- a beautiful large 2nd floor room with spa ensuite. Lovely period decorations, large comfortable bed with quality linen and very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is served in a small verandah area and was delicious and cooked to order. The 'open kitchen' allows you to help yourself to tea, coffee and snacks. All... More

My girlfriend kept saying how cute it was and I think that is a fair description. Really nice and well restored. The location is a bit off the beaten track but that's cool as we had the car etc.

We stayed at the Maison de May on our drive down from the Gold Coast to Sydney. What a pleasant surprise to see that the B&B we had booked on-line the night before (via Wotif.com) was so comfortable! They put great attention to detail into their decorating, landscaping (lovely courtyard in the middle area!), and snacks/breakfast treats. We arrived late... More

Considering a price of nearly $200 for a night, I expected more than what I received. No one to meet us at our arrived time, the hostess' daughter giving us an envelope with the house key in it and then running off, no one to show us around the place... We were told there would be afternoon tea on arrival..... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in the Garden Studio.I was met by the Hostess, Vicky at the agreed time and shown through this delightful self contained studio. It opens out onto a shared Mediterranean styled courtyard as well as having its own private entrance. The fridge was loaded with goodies and the general decor of the Studio was charming. Beware... More

Visiting Newcastle for business, booked room via wotif.com however after booking was made, I learned of the death of a close friend whose funeral was scheduled early the next day. Notified hostess immediately and asked if cancellation was possible due to exceptional circumstances. Was advised that I could not cancel booking, due to terms and conditions of wotif.com. Whilst I... More
