Carrington Place is in a very industrial part of Newcastle, but the hotel is surrounded by a pocket of quiet streets. If your on a long drive this is the perfect place to stop in.
The hotel is refurbished beautifully. There is a large bar and restaurant area downstairs that is relaxed, comfortable and sparkling clean, a perfect place to sit and enjoy a generous glass of wine.
The rooms are immaculate, there is crispy clean manchester and plump pillows, we were happy to find a cold pitcher of water and two glossy green apples in our room on arrival and some fluffy over sized dressing gowns to slip into (which come in handy during the night on the way to the shared bathroom).
All of the staff were genuinely pleasant and courteous. more
