Made a booking over the phone and promised a queen bed. Got there and realized once in the bed, it was a double. We did not get what we paid for and requested.. Management didn't care after this and fobbed us.. Won't be staying again ever. Tiny rooms and old windows that leak rain in the bathroom

Wow. Have stayed here before and it wasn't too bad. Got the $85 room from wotif and will never be staying again. There were flies all over the room. Stains on the walls and curtains. Carpet on shelves and built up dust clogging the air vents. Overall bad smell throughout and poo in the toilet. Sorry astor food is great... More

Yes, the rooms have been refurbished with re-tiled bathroom etc, but the shower splashes onto the floor around the toilet. The rooms are small and this hotel is on the corner of the main street - so its a bit noisy.

I thought it was a little expensive given how basic it was. Not particularly comfortable. We weren't particularly welcomed on arrival, not given any information on facilities etc. But staff were friendly and it served its purpose for a single night of rest.

Would not recommend at all. Globe missing from light above bed. Very poor lighting in bathrobe. Noisy. We had to park out on the street because parking in the motel all taken, but as people were leaving the pub we found they were the ones using inside parks, not people actually paying to stay.Don't bother.

Not your typical pub grub. The Astor kicks it up a notch to more gormet style but without the price. Never had a bad meal here and we visit there quite regularly with friends and family. Service is fantastic. Must visit!

What a good Pub. My wife and I decided to have lunch here today and what a good decision it was. From the moment we were met by Jecinta, yes greeted and seated, to our excellent meals, we left very impressed. Clean, welcoming staff, and obviously a favoured hotel in Goulburn, we will call this "our local" when we next... More

Rooms are very basic. That's okay we were just overnighting. I think they have some updated rooms for a bit more. As a budget room it was okay. Bit of music noise from the hotel, and from rooms upstairs - not excessive but would bother a light sleeper. Aside from the room though, the food & service in the bistro... More

Great for a quick stopover. You get what you pay for, cheap price and basic accommodation. There wasn't a proper ceiling in the bathroom and some debris was falling through. On a positive note, it's location is central and the pub downstairs is great and lively.

A very conveniently situated Hotel in the main Street close to shops and restaurants. Comfortable and clean with a bistro/ wine bar. The shower was dark and small and no bed lamps which would have made a huge difference to our enjoyment.
