Having read some reviews about the Dubbo City Holiday Park (and Dubbo in general), I wasn't sure what to expect. I went in with incredibly low expectations, and these expectations were well and truly exceeded. The cabin was bog standard caravan park fare; although more modern than some I've stayed in, so that deserves an extra point. The hosts (whose... More

There were 9 of us in 2x 2br air conditioned deluxe villas and we found the cabins clean, spacious, with a balcony, outdoor furniture and private BBQ. I usually stay in apartment hotels so was a bit dubious about a caravan park, but travelling this time with 5 children I was so pleased as it was more than I expected... More

There was positives and negatives about our experience at the Dubbo City Holiday Park. On arrival I was impressed with the pool, bouncing pillow, playground and mini basketball court. The kids really enjoyed this aspect of the park. I was also excited to see a herb garden for guest use. However, when we got to our family cabin my opinion... More

We recently stayed here for two nights. Cabin was clean and tidy, enough room (although a bit cosy) for 5 of us (3 children under 5). The children enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground. The holiday park was close to food, shopping and the zoo. When we arrived we had no hot water, but this was fixed once we informed... More

The website only allowed for a 3 consecutive night booking so I rang the property if we could break it (stay for 2 consecutive nights then come back again for another night). We were booked to stay in the zoo for one night and I was pleased that they were amenable to that. This setup enabled us to have a... More

We have stayed at this caravan park, several times in the past, and I have to say it is going down hill. We stayed in an ensuite site. What we found,Lawns not mowed, trees over grown, rubbish lying around the camp kitchen, camp kitchen just very grotty. Pool shade cloth missing, and pool not cleaned, dirt sitting at the bottom... We were traveling from Frankston to Brisbane and to find a happy quiet dog friendly place was fantastic. We stayed in a cabin were my dog had her own backyard and cooled off inside. There should be more places like this. So thank you Rebecca for your hospitality. Teegan and rob.

Our family of 5 stayed 2 nights whilst on a road trip. Great for the children as our camp site was close to amenities, playground, basketball court and jumping pillow. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. It's within walking distance to restaurants and town. I'd recommend this park in a heartbeat.

They are getting major upgrade to their system to be able to get free wifi, using my own Modem stick worked fine. Well positioned for the Zoo, we did the drive your own car through, Buy your ticket 1st at the souvenir, Café Information Centre just inside the Entry to the Zoo. Sadly we had a little infestation of ANTS,... More

We stayed there for 6 nights in Early OCT. The site is only a short drive to the Zoo and a walkable distance from the main shopping street which is great. We stayed in a Family Budget Cabin. The cabin was dated, it have broken hinges on kitchenette doors, the blinds would either fall down or get stuck and wouldn't... More
