Stayed at Tallarook Motor Inn for 3 nights as part of a car club weekend. Motel rooms are larger than average with a kitchen and bench/table . Bathroom was a bit on the small side and we had trouble with the sliding door on the bathroom as it would not sit properly on the bottom slide and kept getting jammed.... More

We were greeted by very pleasant staff who helped me park my car and trailer, and our room was large, tidy and very comfortable. We had a lovely stroll across to the road to the Westside hotel where we enjoyed a lovely meal. The room we had included a fully equipped kitchenette for those who want to cook their own... More

Hi again MarkT, "Howzat" for a great review. It really bowled me over! Any cricket followers will pick the cryptic clue. I hope the trip north is going well. I think there was a phrase in the bible, "do unto others!" As my guests, it a pleasure to assist wherever and when ever we can. I hope everything goes well... More

We stayed here again last weekend, our room faced the park. Found it on our 2nd visit to Dubbo and have never changed. Self catering facilities, nothing has been forgotten including a full sized stove. Was great when we came with the family. Just 2 travelling now, and we still love it. Friendly staff, rooms well presented and spotlessly clean.... More

Hi PenelopeT, Thankyou for your terrific review. You stayed in one of our upgraded Parkview rooms. Yes we have other ideas to make them even better, but rome wasn't built in a day. We love when we get great comments from our return guests. It really underpins what we are trying to achieve. So thanks for taking the time. And... More

Pluses for our 4 night stay were: self-catering, good quality crockery, a full sized stove, comfortable bed, good toiletries, convenient to town, onsite parking, pleasant view across the road to parklands, cheerful friendly receptioniste. Minuses were: no hair dryer, aluminium saucepan rather than stainless steel, no microwave cookware to go with the microwave cooker, one element on the stove did... More

Hi CliveN, thanks for reviewing Tallarook. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay for the most part. Thanks for the feed back about the utensils. I will replace the aluminium pots and unfortunately the good knifes seem to grow legs. We hope to see you again. Next round of upgrades commencing this week. Regards, Richard and the Tallarook team. The motor inn has a great location and facilities. The kitchen and the park across the road are a real plus, especially when travelling with kids. The host is very friendly, the beds are comfy, there is plenty of hot water and the units are tidy.

At 1st look we thought easy comfy room , bathroom , tv , fridge , 1 double bed , 2 single beds - all was great until night time , we would lay in bed and the outside lights out the front door & out the back on the balcony side would be very bright which I found myself putting... More

Hi Morro72, Thank you for your feedback. I am extremely pleased that you found our service and cleaniless great. However we do leave the lights on of a night for security purposes. And I am pleased to say we have never had anything stolen or cars broken into. Believe me with the cost of power I wish I could turn... More

Cheery greeting when we arrived, very helpful young lady at reception. Rooms were clean and well appointed, especially if planning a stay of more than one night. Conveniently situated for visiting the zoo and other local attractions. Restaurants and take aways nearby.

The 3 of us stayed for a couple of nights, very conveniently placed across de park and river, the city AND the ZOO. My son likes it. We stay here almost every year for the last 6!! Could have been good this time, except for some yelling neighbours!!

The Tallarook Motor Inn is in a nice spot opposite the parkland on the river. Reception was friendly but we found it a bit odd that the young lady was sitting out the front having a smoke. The room was OK, pretty dated with a small bathroom that was very clean. The bed was comfortable with a good selection of... More

Hi Steven N, Firstly I would like to thank you for mentioning the cleanliness off the room. It is very important to me. And I agree, If I had a magic wand I would love bigger bathrooms, but they do the trick. We are commencing our next round of renovations next week, so the Tallarook is getting better all the...
