We were a little disappointed with the Econa Lodge. The rating given doesn't seem to match the description. When we arrived a few minutes early, our room was not ready, so we said we would go shopping. The Owner took my wife aside and offered her other selections of rooms which were ready, but none met our requirements. We left... More

Just 2.5 stars ... not their self rated 3.5 stars. ISSUES: The house manager bell kept going on every ten minutes through the night. There is a layer of grime on many things. There are three separate switches to put on TV or air conditioner. Drinking water was tainted with poxy rose petals. Front door needed considerable pressure to close...... More

Stayed here on the way from Melbourne to Brisbane over Christmas, we had our faithful cocker spaniel with us. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, room is older style but quite comfortable, air con, bed shower all were fine, we will definitely make this out Dubbo stop from now on.

The hotel was ok to stay at. Not a bad price for what it was. The microwave in our room was unable to be used (it was sticky taped up) which was a shame. The pillows were a little on the hard side. The owners were friendly.

Our room was good sized and clean, with kitchenette, toaster and iron. The beds were firm but comfortable and the sheets soft, but the towels were thin, marked and nearing retirement age. The pool was cool and refreshing, the air conditioner lovely and ice cold. Free Wifi. Our room was non-smoking, but it is allowed outside on the balcony so... More

We were meant to have camped out tonight but saw the clouds coming. Took 3 rooms. They supplied a small bottle of milk so we could make tea. Nice touch. Wifi and tv. Small kitchen and fridge. Don't forget to ask about the child of Prague statue behind reception! Lovely couple in reception!

We had a room on the top floor which was spacious and clean. The air-conditioning was very loud but we had to have it on because of the heat. The staff were friendly and helpful. Handy location. Good for an overnight stay.
