Friendly staff, comfortable room with bar fridge, TV with Foxtel, but paid wifi only. Nice restaurant with a chef who knows how to cook a steak (but needs to remember to add cashews to the "sizzling sesame prawns with cashews") not a big problem though :-) Breakfast available which we didn't bother with. Would certainly stay here again.

I chose one of the budget (un-renovated) rooms and stayed for three nights. The room was old but the linen was new, carpets clean and the room smelled fresh. The tiny bar fridge kept things cool but not cold. The TV was a large flat screen and worked well, good range of Foxtel channels. The bed as comfortable and the... More

The main entrance appeared pleasant and the location is central to everything in Dubbo. However when you drive behind the main hotel the car park is deserted and shabby. The pool is obviously not used or maintained. The room was very disappointing, shabby and had tired looking at furnishings. Although we didn't pay a lot to stay here in comparison... More

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights. The room was aged and of average quality with stained carpet and a couple of maintenance requirements (flickering bed light, broken thermostat on the mini bar fridge - both issues were attended to when requested but the light didn't work the next day and we didn't bother reporting it again). The... More

I stay here often while away for work, it's nice to be met with a smile and laugh after a long day of driving. The rooms are always clean, beds are firm and comfortable, tv could be in a better viewing position, but apart from the sleep l get here l love the long bath/shower, after a long day of... More

Very basic room, odd layout with fridge located under wash basin next to the bathroom. Wifi included but you need to ask for it this was rather awkward. We were located next to a group of tradies who were up late smoking and drinking loudly at the front of the units, not ideal for traveling with young children. Room was... More

I recently stayed here for 2 nights. From the road this place looks first class but when you go in you can tell it's getting a bit dated but not to a point which should cause concern. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The lady at reception was friendly also. I would happily stay here... More

Travelling as a family, we required two bedroom accommodation in Dubbo. The cabin parks in the area were very expensive and due to school holidays and the proximity of the wonderful Western Plains Zoo, they were requiring two-night minimum stays, which did not suit us. So, we went with the family room at the Cascades Motor Inn. We were aware... More

My family and I stayed here during the holidays at Christmas time and was not at all impressed with the place. From the road the Motor Inn looks quite nice, but once entering throught the driveway, it is wall to wall bitumen. Not really a classy look. Once we entered the rooms, we were confronted with very dated funishings and... More
