We had dinner here at the Amaroo Hotel on one of the nights we stayed in Dubbo. There was a special on with a "buy one, get one meal free" with a wine purchase. We both decided on the grilled chicken with a creamy calamari and prawn topping accompanied with vegetables. With 2 half chicken breasts on each plate, a... More

The lunch menue here is large and costs low. Friendly staff and service is quick. The mixed grill, at $15, is very hard to go past and get through. APL Poker on a Monday night is a good evening as well.

I booked a room at this hotel for two nights by telephone. During my conversation I asked very nicely to the person booking the room if he could tell me his name. In a very rude way, he told me that he was too busy with customers to tell me his name. The day before I was supposed to check-in... More

Cant help you with accommodation but the meals here were great. Family friendly restaurant with great prices and very tasty food. Found this place by accident and will go back here for meals again if and when in Dubbo.

If you are going to stay here don't stay on weekends. I was on the third floor and the noise of the music was so loud I had to check out before the bar was closed. I drove out of dubbo and had a quiet rest in the parking bay. Next time I come to dubbo I will research my... More

I had to book a quick room for one night so I thought I would try the amaroo. Being new to town I just wanted a good nights sleep, up in the morning and on the road, it was far from that . Up all night with young kids driving up and down the Main Street with their music loud... More

After staying one night I will never stay again!!! Very noisy and uncomfortable!!! It's not family friendly , and rooms smelt very bad like vomit. The only good thing is the food. If you stay over the weekend they should supply ear plugs!!!

We were very grateful to get to spend the night at the Amaroo as there had been a mix up with our booking and it seemed that the Amaroo room we stayed in was the last room to be had in the whole of Dubbo. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of room for us to set up... More

I stayed at the Amaroo with my 12 year old for two nights recently. Terrific location, friendly and helpful reception and while the room was basic (as expected for the good value price), it was warm clean and comfortable. No complaints.
