We stayed as a family of three - the rooms appeared clean and well appointed - however the bathroom smelled strongly of urine and when I attempted to wipe the tiles the cloth was black! Towels were only provided for two people - apparently even though we booked for three we needed to ask for a third towel. I found... More

The prices are low and the room was adequately stocked, all in all a good experience. All the amenities as advertised in the room, although wifi availability would have been great. Option of breakfast/dinner in room, probably served from the restaurant/pub in the same property. Will have to squeeze in for parking a large 4WD, though not an issue. Even... More

We stayed in a family single room and it was spacious enough with microwave, tea/coffee facilities and plates and bowls. The main room was large enough for everything we had, on arrival it was very hot and the pool was very refreshing - a little colder than we had experienced this trip but refreshing. The bathroom facilities were of a... More

Recently stayed for 3 nights. Arrived to no one in reception and no sign with instructions to go to the pub next door to book in. No apologies for reception being vacant. Advertise luxury units not so a 3 star standard only. Very outdated. Pillows hard. Pool extremely cold. In saying that the housekeeping was excellent. Very quite location. Short... More

I stay here for business trips and love the place. There is a pub connected to motel, which is handy!!! Room service or dining in hotel is not too bad either. I have the spa room and the spa is amazing, very deep and very spacious! Rooms are standard but pleasant. I know other rooms can be a bit outdated....... More

Rolled up to an empty reception. No bell, sign or instruction visible. Waited, called, poked around, no one around. Another (apparently regular) customer headed off to find staff who eventually came and handled my booking without any apology or friendly comment. The room was okay. Tiny bathroom and clashing doors, lack of power points and only one chair for a... More

Staying at the Desert Sands Motor Inn, Broken Hill, Australia, was absolutely wonderful. Rooms are large and spacious (we had the privilege to stay in a king room), king bed was wonderfully comfortable, spa bath was a dream, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well sound proofed so no traffic noise was a bliss. We dined... More

This place completely discredits the star rating system. I may have gotten the worst room in the complex but you've gotta call 'em as you see 'um- it does not merit 3 stars, let alone 4. The management simply aren't trying very hard. Upon arrival found the reception not just unmanned but closed. Sign instructed me to go to the... More

Sure, it aint the Sheriton Wentworth Hotel, but as far as country motels go, this is not the worst Motel I have stayed in by a long shot. It was clean with a comfortable bed, a TV that worked and a bar fridge with tea/coffee making facilities. I hads no problem with this motel at all, in fact, if I... More
