Thanks so much for our lovely stay. Gerada went above and beyond with helping make our stay such a great experience. We arrived earlier than expected on an extremely hot day and we were able to check in early which was great with small kids. The cottage was very homely and conveniently located in the centre of town. We were... More

Recently as part of a large group we stayed for two nights utilising all 3 cottages. Both myself and my wife found the cottages to be quaint, clean, and extremely convenient to the centre of town, as well as being great value for money. We were able to park both off street (around the back) and directly out front, which... More

Thanks so much for making our stay so pleasant. The cottage was perfect and all our needs were taken car of. Gerada helped my family when we needed more information about specialty shops in Bathurst, among many other things, This accomodation is perfect for those wanting "above and beyond" service. Allyson

Recently stayed for 2 nights with 5 other couples and occupied all 3 cottages. A disappointment from the moment we walked inside. All cottages were very gloomy, very poorly lit and all had been amateurishly renovated (ha ha) over many years. The cottage we had, accommodated 2 couples but the laundry come shower come toilet was well below acceptable. If... More

JimS S, So sorry your experience with us disappointed you. Our cottages are 1890’s workers cottages and have many quirky inclusions. There are some low ceilings and doorways, some internal steps and the bathrooms do include the toilet. Jordan Creek Cottage (The cottage you stayed in) has most of this character. We have this all displayed in full view on... More

The negative reviews say that the cottages are as they seem - which is true! It's not five star accommodation - they're original country cottages so the inside has as much character as the outside, exposed wood beams and all. I stayed with a large family group so spent time in all three cottages. They are indeed old as boots,... More

There were 3 families The Hobbs, The Juraks & The Breese's we all shared 2 quaint cottages, which provided us with all comforts of home. We had the warmest of welcome to us on our arrival. Plenty of room for all of us, and plenty of beds we could all pick & choice our room. There was nothing we needed... More

I just love staying with Gerarda and Tony. The cottages are a unique and charming. The historical pictures make the cottage come alive. On quite nights you can put your imgination to work, to see how it was back in the 1800's. The cottages are very central to the main streets of Bathurst, and just a short walk way, is... More

We will definitely stay at A Settlers Cottage again. The location is great - so close to the center of Bathurst. We have 2 small children and staying in a house with all the equipment that a family needs is essential to making any holiday a happy holiday!
