Location is central to town. Lots of car parks. Upon check in the lady was bubbly and friendly. We went down stairs and ate lunch at the bistro. We ordered the receptionists recommendations. Salmon and sticky pork ribs. The salmon was cooked well but the butter sauce was a bit tangy. The ribs were large and tender. The kitchen staff... More

This is a great place to stay in Bathurst if you're looking for somewhere that is central, reasonable and comfortable. It looks a bit tired from the outside but the new owners have ambitious plans to renovate and update the place. At reception there was a warm and friendly greeting and nothing was to much trouble - recommendations for local... More

I don't know if they have updated rooms but we sure didn't get one! Aqua painted room with original wood panelling and features that my other half said were there over 30 years ago when he last stayed there! Our room was very old and tired. The paint was peeling off on the ceiling. The original light fittings, bathroom and... More

I'm not sure what I was expecting from a hotel in a small Australian town, but what we got was a real treat. We had a huge room with a massive bathroom. The race track finish was just out side our room and it was funny to see ordinary cars using the track as a road. We arrived late at... More

Helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean, bed comfortable, plenty of soap and towels. Bathroom in desperate need of update. Plenty of parking. Continental breakfast was a bit below average. (Toaster was the standout feature, looked quite new and clean, but the drinking glasses weren't). Close proximity to center of town.

I stayed here when it was the Panorama City Motel and it was old, crusty and felt really unkempt. After an unplanned stop in Bathurst on Sunday I was hesitant to stay again, but it was the only place I could think of that had ample parking for a large trailer. And WOW what an improvement!! The staff were genuinely... More

My husband and 3 children stayed here for an overnight stay. Had a nice spacious room and had a early tea and an early night, the food was beautiful- steak delicious. Looks like they are starting to do renovations, so should be soon a great place to stay when visiting Bathurst.

We have stayed before and found the rooms clean, but sadly in need of updating. We chose to upgrade for the $120 and thank goodness we did. We had room to move and the couch was comfortable. The old floor rusted airconditioner is still in the room and the bathroom is sadly in need of a revamp. The bed and... More

Stopped one night. Started badly with no reception ( Sunday) & had to deal with the barman in the bistro who obviously had little training. We then had to go back up to reception to find a key. The room was reasonable size but needs a bit of TLC. There was a bit of road noise throughout the night. Fortunatly... More
