My partner and I just love Pleasurelea! We've been there 3 times this year (so far). It is the perfect getaway place. Quiet, clean, good location (the beach just across the road, shops and restaurant nearby). The cabins are really good and clean. We will definitely come back again.

We only stayed one night in an ensuite cabin but would definately come and stay there again. Even though we were near the street boundary it was quiet with no traffic noise. The cabin was clean and roomy and comfortable. Not far from the Catalina Country Club where we had a lovely meal. Situated within walking distance from the water... More

Would highly recommend this tourist park. So close to the beach you can hear the waves, especially at night. Had an ensuite site, very clean and well kept park. Absolutely perfect holiday spot. All lawns and gardens just beautiful

We spent 4 nights in a deluxe cabin late April 2014 found it a lovely quite spot to spend time out from the rush of large city living. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Our only problem was the smoke detector consistently rang when we were cooking meals Think perhaps the stove exhaust fan filters over the stove needed replacing or... More

I have mixed feelings about this park, some positive - dog beach over the road, a beautiful part of the coastline but there are also the negatives - mozzies, cramped small sites, narrow road with tight corners, a long walk to get to the amenities situated among the permanent caravans and very dark at night without adequate lighting. The managers... More

We were on a unpowered site next to mozzie waters. Didn't have a problem with having to push a button for the showers except the one of the mens shower didn't work. There were only 2 showers and toilets which were not sufficient at peak times in the morning. Also the mirror was fogged up which being in a tent... More

I arrived there with no booking and yet, the courteous staff were all too happy to sort me out with their last remaining cabin. Very clean and for peak times the place was very well priced. It's a small park however, has everything you need including pool and playground if you have kids. Directly across the street is a lovely... More

We were allocated sites at the rear of the park. Found that our friends who were travelling with us had difficulty in getting their van down the narrow roads and turning the tight corners. We were ok as our van was smaller. When we booked our sites, reception was advised the length of both vans so they knew what was... More

Hi Edith 1950 Thank you for taking the time to review Pleasurelea Tourist Resort, thanks for the feedback and positive comments. We do consider the size of caravans when guests are making their reservation and we try to allocate the best site available for the size of the caravan that they are towing, the roads are easily negotiated when taking... We booked this site very last minute( 1 hour before arrival). Staff were excellent to help us find our area, we needed a powered site and 2 unpowered beside each other and we got what we wanted. It was beside the lake but that didn't bother us and we noticed hardly any mossier around during our stay. Shower facilities were... More

Receptionist was friendly and we didn't use the restaurant. The grassed site offered, was adjacent to a large body of stagnant water (wetland reserve). As my wife is allergic to mosquito bites we declined this. We stayed for 3 nights on an ensuite, powered site ($10 per) close to the front of the park. Despite the park being on a corner/main...
