Hanging Rock is an older style motel, but in reasonable condition. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the linen was clean and fresh. Room amenities were a bit basic ("International Roast" coffee sachets!). The owners and staff are courteous. Overall, for the money, it's good value for someone wanting basic accommodation for an overnight stop or a quick business... More

Quiet and clean with lots of space in our family room. Had a table and chairs, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. However no tissues, wifi, plates, bowls. Owners were pleasant and accommodating. Also has a common kitchen which you are encouraged to use (8am-8pm)

Probably more defined by its price point this motel should not be overlooked by judicious travellers. These are clean and accommodating units with guest laundry and guest kitchen. If one was to niggle then the external LED lighting ensures that you are never alone when you choose the toilet at night. Great central location and dollar for dollar you won't... More

Stayed one night at this great value motel. Just out of the Batemans Bay CBD, it is a quiet and basic motel that provides all that an overnight traveller could ask for. Very nice lady at reception, too.

First thing that attracted me to this hotel was that they clearly display pricing out front so you don't have any surprises. $80 for a double room plus another $10 for use of the second bed to make it a twin room. The rooms were small but enough room for 2 and there is also a communal kitchenette you can... More

A budget motel. Just the basics, but practical. Few mins drive to town centre. Bright blue fluro lights outside doors are on all night. Cleaning of adjacent rooms starts very early. Golf club across road is convenient, but be prepared to wait an hour for food on busy weekends.

Clean and tidy. But the TV is the size of a postage stamp and the bed is a long way away from it. No WIFI. Missing the little touches like shampoo and conditioner and biscuit to have with a cup of tea.

Well off I went to explore the Batemans bay area and I got this hotel for two nights. This is a real family run establishment and I highly recommend it. The price is without a doubt the best in the whole area and the people that work there are very informative and friendly. The rooms are 3 star BUT they... More

We payed an average price compared to the many motels we have used in Aus lately ($120) and this was perhaps the least pleasing to date. No Wi Fi, tiny TV, tired rooms. Thin walls (or it seemed that way). It is also pretty isolated with only one place to eat in close proximity (I mean in reasonable walking distance).... More

Stayed here for one night on NYE. Okay for the price, but had a couple of issues. The hook in the bathroom falls out of the door, the bed pillows were hard and lumpy. The bathroom is a typical older motel style with an average size sink. The bathroom window would not shut entirely. Even for NYE it was fairly... More
