Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. Booked two joining rooms and was pleasantly surprised at the size. One room had a double bed and a single the other room had a queen bed. There was plenty of room for my 3 children. The beds were a bit stiff and the pillows very flat but ok for a short... More

You pass through Albury and need somewhere to sleep? OK, then go for the place. It is an OK Motor Inn but we would have chosen something else if anything would have been available but it wasn't. It's really old style and worn of. Cleanliness is ok but it doesn't feel that way. We spent one night and that was... More

Reasonably clean, reasonably comfortable, but pretty basic and tired. If you ended up here, you'd have no worries, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I'm sure there are better options in Albury. The location is good in the middle of town.

Was driving from Sydney to Melbourne one night and came through Albury late, when my previously booked room at another hotel was unavailable the Commodore re-accommodated me with a minimum of fuss... Basic but clean, could not have asked for anymore! Central to everything Didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast, but looked hearty from what I saw when... More

Stayed at this motel in May for one night, good service at reception and in the breakfast room. Our room was ok, clean an tidy, TV did not work well, kept losing the station and constant interference with the screen breaking up while watching shows. Shower very small, lots of noisy from the carpark outside during the night and early... More

Though Commodore Motor Motel may be classified as one of the older motel, the actual experience is not older. Friendly staff, modern in-house entertainment and all the necessary 'small things' that make a stay in a motel exciting: Modern TVs with many channels Pressing Iron and table Tea-making implements with sugar and milk provided daily daily change of towels, giving... Stayed at The Commodore on Wednesday 18th September for $139. The check in was great, the check in lady was delightful, full of humour and keen to please. Brought me out onto the street pointing out the places to go for entertainment and eating. Although it was the first time I stayed there, no credit card or registration details were... More

Terrible rooms and terrible set up, what a dump , never again i actually complained about the place to my company who put us in there, I felt like I was in a horror movie, they need a secure gate and to completely renovate the whole place or at least knock it down , noisy and the biggest dump in... Previous stays at this motel have been satisfactory, but our last stay was an unsatisfactory experience for the following reasons: 1.At $125-price excessive; 2.Air conditioner did not work-potentially dangerous electric heater supplied; 3.TV remote did not function; 4.Bathroom door did not close properly; 5.No biscuits supplied ; 6.Stairs potentially dangerous because of poor design. We have used this motel before because... More

Staff friendly and very central. Clean room and tasty breakfast. No grumbles. This is a regular Aussie motel, nothing particularly special about it, but comfortable enough for an overnight stop. we didn't have a problem with road noise, and the motel was handy for the Commercial Club (just behind), which serves perfectly acceptable food at a great price.
