although it was a little dearer than we would normally pay for a motel room, we found the owners JOY and DALE BARNETT very friendly and extremely helpful. Room spacious and clean, comfy bed, kitchenette, separate bath and shower. Central to towns amenities. Room service breakfast prices the cheapest we had come across in our travels.

The reviews about the cleanliness and friendliness of this motel are very accurate. The appliances are all very new as are the bathroom fixtures and tub plus separate shower. No free internet but good price on paying. Was very adequate and reasonably priced. Also had kitchen facilities if you use the microwave.

This is a good motel, a typical owner-run Aussie motel, and well worth the visit. The owners are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Located in Dean St, the main shopping street, it is close to shops, but it is quite a walk to get to them all. There are options for breakfast, either in room, or at nearby establishments. We opted... More

The motel was clean, roomy and reasonably priced. Breakfast was not available, but it is right next door to a great breakfast place. Not great luxury, but that is not going to be available at the price. I would stay there again because it is good value, centrally located but quiet.

Beds were comfy. One Queen and one single bed. Plenty of Towels. Location is great in the main street close to shops. restaurants etc.... More

After a week of camping and a long day of driving we decided to stay the night in Albury. After reading other reviews on Trip Advisor we thought the Regent Motel sounded like a good spot for us. We rang ahead to book a room and found Joy to be incredibly helpful and very friendly. The motel was easy to... More

We had stayed at the Regent back in early 2012 and remembered it as being a nice place to rest for the night. We wondered if it had changed at all. So we went there again – without a booking! A perilous action to take – but I need not have worried. The welcome was friendly and we were fortunate... More

The motel is within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Off street parking. Dale and Joy were very helpful as we were travelling on motorbikes in very wet conditions and needed some clothes dried. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely comfortable bed and the room was spacious and well appointed. Great cafe right next door too.
