We spent a few days in Ferry Mans Cottage and were delighted. Lovely site overlooking 2km of fairyland swale to the Sea. Impeccably built and kept. We stayed here earlier in the year and really enjoyed our stay at Birds Ferry Lodge. The location was magnificent with fabulous views of mountains and in the distance to the sea.We even heard the rare Kiwi which was a highlight. This was our second visit to this location. Fabulous peaceful and private location, excellent hospitality and first class food. The attention to detail and welcome offered by Alison and Andre really needs to be experienced to be appreciated. We were NOT disappointed! more
