We stayed here as a stopover so we could go on an overnight cruise to Doubtful Sound but it was much more than that. Wendy & Roger gave us a warm welcome & the facilities were excellent. It was a relief to get the washing up to date & have chats with Wendy in the laundry room! Our room had... More

It is always good to hear that visitors to this area recognise that Te Anau is so much more than a stopover when visiting one of the fiords. We do have a lot to offer to overseas visitors and kiwis alike. Many thanks for writing this review. More

We stayed at dunluce towards the end of our trip to New Zealand in November last year. We really stayed as we were wanting to head to Milford sound for the day but actually the town of Te Anu itself is great and I would definitely recommend a visit. We arrived mid afternoon to a very warm welcome and the... More

Thank you Wendy and Roger for being such lovely hosts even holding our luggage whilst we went to the Doubtful Sound for my Birthday. Our room and facilities were beautiful like the lake view. Breakfast was delicious. We drove to Te Anau where there are some nice restaurants before going on the gloworm caves tour. Highly recommend this gorgeous accommodation.

We only stayed for one night but wish it could have been for longer. Our room was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful view over the lake and mountains which could be enjoyed from our private patio. Wendy & Roger were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. We were going on the Fiordland Navigator the... More

We were lucky enough to stay 4 nights with Roger and Wendy. Even before our arrival they had booked our trips to Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound as we didn't want to miss out. Their recommendations to book with Go Orange to get smaller boats were excellent and we had 2 great trips. We stayed in the room with the... More

Dunluce B & B is a fairly small single story building with good views over the lake from the patios. Rooms are bright and airy with fairly simple furnishings but no proper air conditioning which tends to make the room very hot at certain times. The shower (no bath) is excellent and the bathroom is very modern with good tiling... More

From the moment you arrive Wendy & Roger make you feel like your are part of the family. The bedrooms are all the same size with nice big beds looking out to the mountains. They even have a wash room so you can wash n dry clothes which is very handy when you are driving all over New Zealand. I'm... More

We received a warm welcome from Wendy and Roger. Our accommodation was lovely with a great shower room. The home cooked breakfast and a fridge of extras for guests was most welcome. They gave us helpful advice on local amenities. No pets.

Wendy and Roger are great hosts. Their property and the rooms are clean and well appointed with quality furnishings. The beds and bedding are of excellent quality as are the bathrooms (towels are plush and lavender scented toiletries, including hair conditioner, the first I was offered in NZ were a delight). The view from your room (and small, but private... More
