Dunluce is well situated close to the water and just outside Te Anau. Our hosts Wendy and Roger McQuillan made us very welcome and were very helpful in suggesting where to go and where to eat, They gave us great trips about the route to Milford Sound and which cruise to take. The room and bathroom were well furnished and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunluce from the fabulous breakfast to the duck down feather doona. Our room was better equipped than five star hotels with chocolates on the pillows and soft luxurious fresh towels. The view from our room was breath taking looking over the lake and mountains. Our hosts Wendy and Roger made us feel welcome from... More

I found this bed and breakfast on the web and as always I am concern that the web sites do not always have a true and correct description of what's on offer. I can say this accommodation is heaven, wonderful rooms, luxury all the way from the towels to the chocolate on the pillows at night. The host are fabulous,... More

We are a family with two teenage children and loved our two night stay at Dunluce. This is a new property on the outskirts of town with great views of the fields and lakes. The whole property is perfectly maintained with good size bedrooms and bathrooms that are both quite luxurious. Roger and Wendy were so friendly and welcoming and... More

Apart from being a superb B & B with most friendly hosts Wendy and Roger, we were wondering on our various stops what the next bed would be like. This was the best, lovely and soft and slept like a log. To be followed by a marvelous breakfast of many choices made this place special

We had a wonderful stay here - Wendy and Roger are amazing hosts and give you a very warm welcome and loads of extras that you just don't expect that make it a special place to stay. I agree with everything Ester1228 said. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, free wi-fi was great (as you usually have to pay for wi-fi in NZ), the hosts were welcoming and helpful, the breakfast and afternoon snacks were delicious (they keep their own garden), the "help yourself to a glass of wine" was greatl. the bathroom showers were luxiourous, the private... We stayed 3 nights at Dunluce while travelling round New Zealand with friends. We found it very comfortable with welcoming hosts. As others have said it is the detail which is so nice, free drinks both juices and wine, wifi, large beds, good breakfasts (especially the fresh fruit which was more varied and plentiful than almost any of the other... I stay 2 nights here with my husband and my parents, as the last leg of a 2 week NZ trip. By the time we got to Te Anau, we were pretty tired from all the driving but we were very excited when we set up into the charming B&B. Wendy and Roger greeted us at the door and made... More
