We arrived from queenstown in the morning after booking earlier in the morning. Staff at the counter helped us out and allowed us to drop our bags off in the room early before heading out to do a milford sound cruise. The motel looked older in some parts but was not dirty which is the biggest thing for me. The... More

i stayed here in october with some people from course. The rooms were really lovely to stay in and the staff very pretty helpful. i liked the pool table, juke box and the table tennis table. the fact that it was close to the town centre meant it was pretty handy.

Disappointing. Photos on the website were much nicer than the reality, poxxy little room, crappy shower (poor pressure), Internet signal woeful in room (had to sit in the lounge), hotel looks very tired.

I don't know what it is about this place. Maybe its because there was hardly anyone in the hotel part and it felt deserted. We had a standard hotel room which although was clean, it was a bit dated and depressing. It overlooked the budget accommodation they offer, and all I could see was one guy sitting outside his room... More

While it may not be the best looking place on the outside (we thought it pretty dated and grim), we were pleasantly surprised to see the newly refurbished rooms and bathrooms. there were a couple of comfy chairs in the room and a luggage rack as well to keep the cases handy. there was some free wi-fi but the signal... We stayed here back the beginning of May and there appeared to only be 2 rooms rented that night. The check in went quick and the lady was friendly and answered our questions about the area. I found it odd that with only 2 of 100 plus rooms rented, they would put our rooms next to each other, but it... More

Stayed for 2 nights to visit Milford sound and the area. Quick, friendly Check-in and free unlimited WIFI complimentary. Rooms were clean, spacious, self contained and parking outside the room very pleasant. Reasonable pricing for 100$ per night. Only downside was the fire alarm at 7am in the morning which was caused by a faulty fire alarm panel. Will return... More

This hotel is indeed in need of a refurb but we were pleasently surprised to find our room had been recently redecorated and the bathroom appeared to be newly refitted.Every thing was spotless and the bed comfortable with new style linen and quilt. Ideally situated for us to visit with our family and with good walks and town centre nearby.The... More

This property is located about a five-minute drive from the lakefront and town centre. We had a 1 bedroom unit with a Queen Bed and a small kitchenette. Bathroom was Ok but the Unit was 'tired' and in need of refurbishment. There is heating - but no aircon! Rooms appear to be spread over several accommodation blocks . Ours was centrally... More
