At only about $72 per night, this room was simple but had everything we need. Friendly staff, comfy bed, lovely views outside the room and just across the road to main town area. We've paid more for less! Really enjoyed our time there, peaceful and as mentioned, simple.

This was the most expensive holiday park we have been to yet at $19 a person to sleep in our van. I guess its remote location hikes the price. But besides a complete toilet (where 2 of the 4 showers were locked, even though there was line ups), most things were extra. And only the men's toilets were clean. Internet... More

The place is very basic and the only good things are a nice kitchen and clean bathroom (it was winer so there was few guests). When we arrived we took a room with no private bathroom and left straight after to go for a walk. When we came back and entered the room we realized there was no blankets! We... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us and I'm really sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience. We are a holiday park and have may room types to offer. When checking guests in, we explain what room type you have booked and what is in the room. You have booked a standard cabin in this situation.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, due in no small part to the friendly and helpful hosts who went above and beyond the call of duty. They are probably the most helpful hosts we have encountered, not only to us but I also observed them going out of their way to help other guests. The facilities we of a good... More

Booked a room with a fridge and kitchen utensils. Based ourselves here for 2 nights, before and after a trip to Doubtful Sound. Didn't really know what to expect. It boggles my mind that the room was advertised as 'deluxe', when it was basic at best. As is sometimes the norm in NZ, there was a $7 charge for Wi-Fi;... More

Friendly obliging staff, we came for one night stayed for 3. Staff very obligingly arranged at short notice to keep us accommodated in the same room. Convenient location to town amenities, and beautiful scenery and sun rises from front of unit. Friendly useful tourist advice given by staff, local knowledge invaluable to planning our day trips to Milford Sound etc.... More

Stayed at this powered site on our campervan. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff who helped us booked our Milford Sound cruise. Walking distance from town centre where nice food can be found. We dined at the Fat Duck just across the road and had a budget breakfast at Hollyford Cafe.

Our first experience of staying in holiday park. Had a twin bed cabin with ensuite. Not luxurious but had everything you needed and always great to have car outside the door. Fridge, toaster and crockery for two so able to make breakfast (microwave in communal kitchen). Good laundry with iron and ironing board. Easy walk into Main Street for restaurants... More

helpful friendly staff, clean comfy rooms with very comfy bed, close to town for everything you need but off the main darg enough to be quiet. shared kitchen very clean. laundry good, but some pegs for hire would have been great...really nice shared space. spent five days there and the rooms are great value for money.

Thanks for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We do try and keep pegs on the washing lines but they tend to go walking. We do have them at reception for purchase at a very reasonable price. Hope to see you back here again one day. More
