What you expect from a Kiwi site, clean, tidy, great facilities and very good location. Literally on the edge of town. All 4 star facs, excellent kitchen and large dining area although we didn't use. Shower and toilets spotless. Great food on your door step, recommend The Ranch for dinner (happy hour) 9 to 10. Also Pop in cafe on... More

The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we had to change our dates due to car troubles. Nothing was too much effort and they also lent us a longer lead to enable us to pitch our tents on a larger site. The grounds are also very well maintained and the kitchen seating setup was certainly the best we came... More

A great place to stay, we were there for three days doing fiord tours etc. Very good facilities, clean and convenient. Helpful staff at reception, too bad they charge for wifi. Plenty of space around our campervan.

We stayed here one night and while we were not early enough to get a lakeside spot, we enjoyed the very clean facilities and friendly service we received. Our friendly receptionist, Misha (sorry if I botched your spelling), made us feel very welcome, so thank you. It was quite expensive at 19$ a head for a powered site, but that's... More

The hotel is situated just across the road from the lake, offering lovely views and walks. It is, however, about 20 minutes walk from the town centre and so not ideal for anyone with walking problems. The rooms are large and well-fitted (wet room, hob, microwave, toaster etc) offering possible accommodation for up to 5 people. The rooms are quite... More

This was the first holiday park we stayed in during our whirlwind tour of New Zealand, and it set a very high bar for all of the rest. None of the others even compared to this place. I could have stayed there for a very long time and still felt comfortable. The communal kitchen was commercial grade-it easily had room... More

We stayed four nights here in our caravan and really enjoyed our stay. The camp facilities are really good and very central to the main part of Te Anau. There is plenty to do here and although we didn't use the family area there are things for children. We had a great site for our large caravan, the only downside... More

We stayed here for two nights in a tent. The staff were relaxed and helpful and knowledgeable. It has a popular play area for kids and a very low speed limit inside the camp, so it is good for children. Although located 200+ metres from the lake, the walk to the lake is along the main street so pretty convenient.... More

No free wifi Clean public rest and shower place. Free kitchen to use, but cooking tooling is rental. Laundry is expensive than Motel, NZ$4. Towel has be rent, too. They just offer clear bed and clear washing room, no shampoo. But offer cup, dish at room. Others are good.

We were supose to stay one night in a cabin with share bathroom, in our way to Milford Sounds. When we enter the cabin we realized that had not been done from the previous guests. So we went again to recepcion to let then know and they upgraded for free to a ensuite cabin. The next day was close the... More
