As previous reviewers have stated, this one is definitely a cut above any other parks we have stayed in on our trip around NZ. From the friendly efficient checkin, the immaculate amenities and great location in Te Anau - walking distance to lake & town. Our favourite things were the terrific kitchen & dining area, where we enjoyed sitting at... More

This site had several things which made it a cut above most others which we visited during our five week campervan tour of New Zealand. The kitchen is next to a good quality and spacious dining area, which makes you feel like you are eating in a restaurant. Next to it too, is a lovely lounge with an open log... More

We stayed here for one night on our way in to Milford Sound. There were not alot of other guests, it felt like we had the place to ourselves! The kitchen and dining area could cater to several bus loads of guests, it is that large. But in the shoulder season it was not that well utilised. The location is... More

We stayed here for two nights so we could be close to a Doubtful Sound excursion. We chose this park because it is a Top 10 which is highly regarded for good quality. Although , it is very good quality , you also are paying for it! It's not cheap to rent a camper for travel, the Top 10 camp... More

We went with friends and hired 3 sites. We went there as we were told pets were ok. We took 3 small wee fluffy dogs. There were a couple of other people with dogs there as well. It wasn't busy. We took a very large pen area for the dogs just in case. The showers and toilets were clean. The... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our park and let us know how your stay went. We are a dog friendly park but we do have a couple of policies to follow. All dogs must be signed in on arrival and must be kept on a lead at all times. We try to keep noise within the park to... More

This is for a deluxe chalet room with ensuite bathroom. Having stayed at other places in New Zealand for the same price, what this place lacks are: Rental of sheets, blankets and towels (no face washers and hand towels, we asked). Floor towel and bath towel only. Double bed instead of queen or king at most places. No tea or... More

Within walking distance to the town centre so great for anyone travelling. Excellent reception staff, so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a studio type room, had a wet floor shower and very, very clean. I was impressed with what this facility had to offer from backpackers down to tent sites, very family friendly environment I would highly recommend it!!!

Overall we had a good experience, they even checked us in early at 9:30am for no extra charge. We stayed in a chalet, it was nice and clean but you do have to rent linens and towels if you don't have any. The location was excellent as its right beside the main town center.
