My wife and I stayed at Rob and Nancy's on the first leg of a driving tour of New Zealand. It is a small B&B. The room we sayed in was more like a small apartment than a room. It had a small fireplace, TV, kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, sitting room with a couch, bath, and bedroom, as well as its own external entrance. The other rooms are a little smaller but every bit as nice. The breakfast was superb and we were furnished a simple checklist for the night before. We wanted to see Milford Sound and Rob made all of the arrangements. He recommended that we take a tour by van rather than drive; this turned out to be a very good suggestion. We were picked up at the B&B and made some interesting stops both going to and returning from Milford Sound. The van had only a few other people on board, so was a much more enjoyable day than we would have had on a large tour.
