We came across Blue gum lodge through a fellow traveller's recommendation and we didn't regret our choice to stay there. It's a little out from the main township, though only a 15-20min walk around the lake. This was perfect for us. My husband and I always stay at B&B's or Boutique hotels when we travel. In order to pick the places we will stay we rely on the pictures and descriptions on the internet.
