Good location, an easy walk to town and not far to the gondola. The rooms were dated but clean, the owner made quirky art around the place which was different and neat. We had a bit of fun with the pay washing machines. A good place to base oneselves in Queenstown more

My Partner and I traveled round the whole of NZ staying in motels and hotels and for value for money and facilities the self contained units i n Creeksyde are amazing. The location is excellent for getting into town as it is a short walk and the supermarket is just round the corner so you can get all your supplies... more

I stayed in "Self Contained Unit". It has full good kitchen(good for family or group which prefer self catering, fresh choice super market is about 5 minute walk). There are 4 bedrooms which contain beds for 7 people in the unit. Although some bedrooms are small, but big enough for sleeping. There is a reasonable living room. This place is... more

I camped at Creeksyde for 2 nights. The holiday park is a bit confusing to find your way around, but you get there in the end... The camping spots were perhaps a bit smaller than usual but big enough for most tents anyway, and there are camping tables right there, which is great for eating outside or reading. (not all... more

This place is all geared up for campa's and not overly for the bedrooms. The room we stayed in was not overly clean, I had to ask for a dirty bar of soap to be removed from the carpet, I just couldn't be bothered to ask for the place to be dusted. It has to be the noisiet place on... more

This campsite is weird! We toured NZ in campavan and mostly stayed in Top 10 campsites. We'd heard that accommodation in Queenstown was expensive to decided to sleep in the campa at Creeksyde. The campsite is completely weird and confusing! It's like someone has gone crazy on outside decor - there were crazy outdoor ornaments and sculptures all over the... more

We have now stayed at the Creeksyde in Queenstown 3 times and its one of the best places to stay for a family on a budget in Queenstown which can be very expensive!. Short walk into the centre of town and the lake, 2 minute walk to the supermarket and the ski shuttle buses stop outside the door. Yes, privacy... more

Don't let the exterior put you off. We chose the 2 bedroom unit with extra bed in the LR. In a place where EVERYTHING is expensive, we were quite surprised to get such a great place for $155 (more than our usual budget but CHEAP for Queenstown). This was one of the nicest, cleanest and spacious rooms we've had. Clean,... more
