I stayed here for two nights with my mother. Our twin room had 2 single beds, full kitchen facilities, spa bath and fantastic views. Car parking was under cover, free and right beside our room, and laundry facilities were available. We were just a few minutes out of town so it was quiet at night. more

What a fantastic place to stay, we had the most supberb skiing holiday, the bus picked us up right across the road from Alexis. The hotel is located in frankton and is very close to the lake wakatipu. Being on a hill, it has an excellent unobstructed view of the lake. Had an upstairs end apartment with great views of the lake. Apartment had a good kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge and plenty of things to make a meal. Internet access was through the purchase of a wireless internet card which wasnt very expensive. Underground parking. The end rooms have fantastic views over the lake. Staff are friendly and so is the labrador who is always happy to greet you. A bit of a walk to town particularly on the return trip which is mostly uphill! Good laundry facilities available. Overall, very good and we would use again more

Alexis Motor Lodge has large and comfortable rooms (we paid extra to get a spa bath) leading onto a large patio that has views over the lake and mountains.
