We had a wonderful few days with Neil and enjoyed the experience very much. We arrived very early and expected that the room would not be ready. Queenstown is an amazing place to visit, and Coronet View was an amazing place to stay. The location above the centre of Queenstown gave panoramic views, but was only a 10 minute walk or so into town (slightly longer coming back uphill). Our rooms were really comfortable, with luxurious beds, robes, heated towel rails, and many other little touches that... more

Agree with most other comments about this hotel. It was not that clean but it was cheap. Very close to Coronet Peak which is good if you like skiing there. Far away from the remarkables. Prob best for familys. more

We stayed there at the start of the ski season and were very unhappy that we arrived while renovations were going on, something we had not been warned was to be the case. The oven didn't work and we had to amass a small mountain of $2 coins to operate the computer, the washer and the drier. After spending in... more

Queenstown appears to becoming very touristy, and this motel offers a decent rate. The room was small, the walls were thin, and breakfast was average, at best. Beautiful view. Half-a-mile outside of town. Great cat. more
