Found this little place on wotif.com and got a bargain price as a bonus! The room was superb with spa bath and the view over Queenstown was awesome. A short stroll to the centre of the town - everything you could have asked for for an overnight stop or longer. The breakfast was gorgeous - what ever you want done... more

Balmoral Lodge is one of the best B & B's we have ever stayed in. We had the 2 bedroom apartment downstairs, ideal for us with our 35 year old son joining us from Sydney. We found a deal on Wotif website but even at normal price this would have been a great place to stay. It makes a huge difference when B&B owners make an extra effort. more

Just the perfect location with views to die for and room was just brilliant. Very accessible to town yet quiet by being on a hill. Cis and Dee could not do enough to help and made our stay memorable. What a lucky fined Balmoral Lodge was. Exhausted, we were greeted with a happy and empathic ear of knowing, shown to our room by Cis we were enveloped by a spacious clean simplistic elegance ,warm, and luxurious. Impeccable service. Most beautiful setting ever combining their garden seating and the scenery. Fine breakfast. Very helpful advise. Permitted use of their laundry machine. more

This was our first port of call in NZ and the hosts, Les & Cis were brilliant. They offered us tips on what to do, helped in getting a hire car, and booked our Jet Boat trip as well.
