Only a 7 minute walk into Queenstown Earnslaw Lodge was a great, affordable option to stay. The customer service was excellent - super friendly and very welcoming. It was great to have a kitchenette to cook in the evenings after a hard day on the slopes. The decor was a bit dated but it had plenty of space, very clean... More

We chose this Motel as we wanted a great view and close proximity to town, (15minute walk, twice what quoted) In all we had 4 rooms over the period of a week. The owner Lynley was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the Motel itself and the cleanliness really let her down. The rooms are all very tired and the... More

Stayed a week at the start of the ski season (end of June) it is a 15 min walk to Queenstown, not the 7 mins they say. Room very big with all the facilities needed for cooking etc. Big radiator heats up the room fast and dries out ski clothing. Ski locker downstairs. Manager is a very nice woman who... More

The room was booked online with special deals, and we got a room facing the main road at ground floor. The room was basic and clean, except the vehicle pass-by noise as I opened the sliding glass door for natural ventilation purpose when we're in the room. Alternatively, I opened the small glass window in the shower room. Just dealt... More

Rooms were reasonable & clean but make sure you are not overcharged upon checkout. We were charged $10.00 per night above the quoted amount. Did not realise at the time & would not refund unless I returned in person. Showers could do with some improving.

This was a reasonable and affordable choice in Queenstown in the busy New Year period where accommodation can be difficult to find. The lodge is just outside (and uphill from) the main town centre. We had a hill-facing room (significantly cheaper than the lake-facing option) on the upper level for just one night. The room itself was quite large, but... More

We had a lovely stay here as it was our first time to Queenstown. Staff were friendly and the owners were very helpful with useful tips and advice for us. The room was on the first floor with a lovely view of the lake; it was clean, comfortable and warm. The cooked breakfasts were the best! The motel is in... More

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor and we had a lovely view of the lake from our balcony. The motel was within easy walking distance to most places. The only thing I found a little annoying was the car park, although there was no problem getting park the space available to get... More

For those who are comfortable with slightly dated accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff who were happy to drive us to our group accommodation the next day. As the owners were away, slightly disorganised but more than happy to assist. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with all general amenitiesand opened onto an enclosed balcony overlooking the street. Very... More
