Very central and surrounded by bars, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs. Very large and well-appointed suites with the latest large TV entertainment and sound system system, large balcony, fireplace and trendy bathroom. We stayed on a Saturday night and whilst we could hear a voice or two on the lane below and some faint music, the level of background sound was... More

We had the pleasure of staying at the Spire on the night of and night after our Wedding. It was simply perfect and they went above & beyond to meet our needs. The breakfast delivered to our room was spot on, accompanied with our requested coffees which were always on time! The bed and pillows to die for! We can't... More

We stayed at the Spire in February 2015 and I wrote a previous review on my first night which was a negative review . I wanted to update that review . , We were awakened by loud music from a restaurant-nightclub across the street which blasted music into our room which was facing the street. The music continued until almost... More

Thank you for the update, I am glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay with us. The council have recently reduced the hours of late night trading for surrounding bars which has removed any noise issue from the area. It was disappointing to have a number of instances over the summer where guests were disturbed however we are delighted... More

The Spire is in a great location on a pedestrian street in the middle of Queenstown. The hotel is small with just ten rooms. That said, the rooms themselves, are more than ample with both sitting and sleeping areas and a large balcony. We enjoyed coming back at night after a long day out and sinking into the comfortable chairs... More

Thank you for leaving your thoughts following your recent stay - I am so glad your Spire experience was memorable. The little extra guest service touches are an important part of the stay - as much as any of the other activities that guests take part in, the team love going the extra mile to look after our visitors. The... More

The Spire Hotel is not a cheap hotel, but it was well worth the expense. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. In Queenstown, there is so much to do and so many places to eat. The help and advice from the Spire staff really enhanced our time in Queenstown, and allowed us to make the most of our... More

Thank you for your feedback Roger, much appreciated. Queenstown is such a dynamic and vibrant town that location is important - being in the thick of the action is what it's all about! The restaurant and café dining scene is a big part of the Queenstown experience and we're delighted that our two outlets, No5 Church Lane and Eichardt's Bar... More

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect spot. Rooms are large and trendy design. Front desk very accommodating. Most of all, the location. Great boutique hotel very short walk to anything you may need. I deduct 'overall' rating because the car park is across the street. Even though the desk does it for you.. It is... More

Thank you for your review - so glad you enjoyed your Spire visit. The design aspect gets a lot of wonderful feedback, a very funky hotel with a lot of touches you'll wish you had at home! Being in the centre of everything is fantastic - a true urban hideaway. Regarding street noise a lot of measures have been put... More

The Spire is a pinnacle of luxury and comfort. It is in the heart of all the action Queenstown has to offer but very quiet at night. My suite was spacious and very comfortable, a truly luxurious room. I surely enjoyed a complimentary bottle of great New Zealand red wine while lounging in the Eames chair and listening to the... Thank you for posting your comments - we are currently experiencing difficulties with the nightclub across the laneway overstepping their license conditions with relation to noise. At the time you called down to reception the night manager was on the phone to noise control and the police to call them to action, and was in the bar in question to... More

Wow. Where to start. The rooms are huge and well appointed. Due to the rain/our laziness/great NZ wine my husband and I spent a fair bit of time lounging in the Eames chair and on the comfy couch, or, when the sun was shining, outside on the balcony (see picture). The walk in robe was great with lots of storage.... More

We stayed at The Spire recently to celebrate our engagement. From the moment Sarah picked us up at the airport we were absolutely spoilt. Thanks to Alex, the manager, for almost being as excited as we were for our engagement. Our suite was beautiful and spacious, elegantly designed and luxurious.
