We stayed at the villa in February for 4 nights. I must say, what a beautiful place. It's about a 5 min drive outside of town but the place was great. We had a full service condo. Full kitchen, washer and dryer in your room, living room and bedroom. The entire facility was clean well kept. Parking was a little... More

The apartment was so well equipped and the view was so magnificent that you won't want to leave Villa Del Lago, in spite of the attractions of Queenstown. The apartment has amazing views and is situated about 20 mins walk from Queenstown. We thought it was great value for money and wished we could stay longer

To be honnest, I did not really paid attention when I booked the hotel, because it was already difficult to find any vacancy and evenmore difficult when you are a family of 5. When we arrived, it was an absolute shock. The appartment was actually a triplex, extremely luxurious, fully equipped (including washing machine, dish washer, DVD player, free WiFi,... More

We stayed three nights at the beginning of our New Zealand tour. This was the best equipped apartment I have ever stayed at, with many facilities including washing machine and tumble drier, and we had a direct and gorgeous view over the lake, with only the lakeside footpath between us and the lake (see photo) It was lovely leaving the... We spent the last 4 days of our NZ adventure here....it was the perfect end to a wonderful holiday. The one bed apt was clean and comfortable ..the washer and dryer with free washing powder was very useful. The view through the patio doors beautiful. We enjoyed walking along the lake path into queenstown which took around 25 minutes ...we... More

Very comfortable apartment with a fantastic view. We also enjoyed talking to the staff every morning to help plan our days. Their insight into the local area and tours were greatly appreciated...as was their patience as we worked through some issues with the third party website we used to book the room. Hope to return soon and have already recommended... More

Queenstown was our starting point for a three week NZ experience, with Villa Del Lago as our accomodations of choice. While booking, we honestly thought the panorama view was spiked up, but the pictures really did not show close to the real thing - STUNNING! Great appartment, stylish, clean and including all accessories one can want. Our hosts gave us... More

This is a group of condos which face Lake Wakatipu. It is on the main road leading to the city of Queenstown. It on the lake side of the road and the view from the condo was spectacular. There is a walking path down from the condo that follows the lake to the city and takes a good 20 -... More

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The view from the hotel balcony was "remarkable", the washer and dryer (in the unit) was a bonus and the fireplace was almost a necessity given the cooler than average summer temps. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had a 4 burner cooktop and dishwasher. We also... More

The apartment was beautifully furnished with a gas fire (not that we needed it), patio doors to a terrace overlooking the lake. It was extremely well equipped with a full oven, washer, dryer, dishwasher etc and all were in good working order. It is in an ideal location overlooking Lake Wakatipu and we were able to sit outside on the... More
