We had 4 days in Queenstown and with the unpredictable cold snap, we still had an amazing stay foremost because of the excellent recommendations from the helpful staff...especially Mel. The villa itself is superbly located with awesome views and facilities that think of everything. Anyone planning a stay in Queenstown, don't go past Villa de Lago. Thank you !!!!

We came down for a few days R & R before a family wedding and stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was fabulous. Clean, well appointed and with nice little touches like the chenille throw in the lounge for those chilly nights, umbrellas in the unit, underfloor heating in the bathroom and bicycles which can be used by guests... What a superb apartment for any stay in Queenstown for anyone self catering, everything you could wish for. Pleasant walk into town along waterfront, daily cleaning a bonus. The bed was so so comfortable, we were blessed with predominantly good weather which was a bonus. Only complaint was the noises fan in bathroom.

As we pulled up the property was right on the main road and we thought it was going to be noisy but as we got into the apartment you couldn't hear any traffic inside or out. The mountain and lake views are stunning . The apartment was beautifully furnished and very calming . We were able to walk into town... More

Queenstown can get a bit crowded staying to close to city center. This hotel is located 20 minute walk outside main part of city center. Great location and the view looking out over the lake is unreal! Great friendly staff that can not help you enough. Rooms are really apartments with kitchen and living room area with tremendous views. It... More

Having done extensive research on Tripadvisor and other sites, I booked three nights in a one bed apartment at Villa Del Lago over Easter 2015. It is easy to find (on the road into Queenstown), Charlotte on reception was lovely and managed to inform us of just about everything you ever need to know about Queenstown in 5 minutes. The... We stayed here for two nights and didn't want to leave. The motel is in a stunning location with all rooms facing the lake and the Remarkables. It was easy to find being directly on the main road into Queenstown off the SH6. Check in was very friendly and efficient and we were given a map and directions to shops,... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Our unit was in good condition and very well equipped. We had a lovely view over the lake. There was easy access to the path into town. The only problem was that we had to carry our cases up and down 40 steps to and from the car. As I am 60 years old and... More

We stayed at the villa in February for 4 nights. I must say, what a beautiful place. It's about a 5 min drive outside of town but the place was great. We had a full service condo. Full kitchen, washer and dryer in your room, living room and bedroom. The entire facility was clean well kept. Parking was a little... More

The apartment was so well equipped and the view was so magnificent that you won't want to leave Villa Del Lago, in spite of the attractions of Queenstown. The apartment has amazing views and is situated about 20 mins walk from Queenstown. We thought it was great value for money and wished we could stay longer
