I had a unit upstairs which had a good view of the lake and also of the gondola. The room was very clean, I had a non-kitchen unit, but still had a fridge, microwave, kettle and even some plates, bowls and cutlery. It was only a 5 mintue walk into town, my room wasn't facing the main road, so it... more

The accomodation was ok, two bedrooms, bathroom, sitting/dining room. Quite dark as it was in the corner under the staircase on the ground floor, smelt bit musty. Could have been cleaner, bed had some hairs in it. Staff on arrival were not very welcoming. I rang to swop rooms if possible. But nobody bothered to reply. I asked at the... more

We were 3 adults. The one bedroom unit suited us very well. Queen bed in bdrm and single in the lounge area. The location worked too. Easy walk to the CBD. more

Clean, pleasant accommodation. Easy walking distance to town (we walked across the park). The only draw back is it's on a main road and can be noisy. more

I stayed here for 2 days and could have stayed longer. The hotel/motel featured 2 bedrooms, a large living room area, full kitchen (complete with all of the dishes, pots, cutlery ect.) and large bathroom. All linens, carpets, drapes and furniture seemed new - giving an overall fresh feeling to the place. This is a perfect place for a family... more

Queenstown has no shortage of accommodation, but the Blue Peaks is notable for having unusual roofs that make it instantly identifiable from the top of the gondola, a paraglider or a scenic flight. Novelty value of the roofs aside, this was a nice motel, with well-appointed, spacious rooms, a good location (out of the town centre but within an easy... more

I came here for the ski season. What can I say? It is a comfortable hotel to stay in. Very nice big rooms with good kitchen facilities and couches/tables. Good for the price I must say. However - these are the drawbacks according to my stay. The room was extremely cold ! Someone needs to do something about the hotel... more

Be extremely cautious when booking (online) here. I booked a studio online and someone at reception came back to offer me a 1 bedroom unit, which I immediately accepted. I further planned a whole bunch of paid activities around the motel location (pick up and drop offs, etc). I had also planned to make payment to Blue Peaks the next... more

We stayed at the Blue Peaks Lodge (not the Apartments) in a two bedroom unit--one had a double bed, the other two single beds. The bathroom was shared between the two bedrooms--toilet and small sink in one room, shower and larger sink area in the other room. The kitchenette area was quite nice with refrigerator, microwave oven, plenty of dishes,... more

Nice place clean serviced apartments. If you are in the two bedroom variety they have some good views of the surrounding mountains. For some reason this place does not have a good internet presence. They have a website, but it does not do web bookings and they are not listed on hotel websites (Wotif, etc) For this reason they may... more
