My family stayed at the Whistler apartments for 3 nights in April 2009. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 people (2 adults and 3 children). We found the apartment to be too small for the 5 of us. There was nowhere inside for 5 of us to sit and eat a meal together. The only table (with 4... more

Whistler is a modern and clean motel near to the center of Queenstown. We stayed in an apartment on the upper floor which had a balcony from which there were pretty good views of the town and surrounding hills. The apartment is very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, DVD player, TV, hi-fi etc. The balcony gets the afternoon... more

Really nice place, very close to town. Decor just getting a little tired and the washing machine was useless. It is on a busy road but our bedroom was at the back so it didn't bother us. more

We stayed at the apartments in Queenstown over the December 2007 holiday. We were greeted by an enthusiastic staff member who was very helpful in getting us to our room and providing us information about activities in Queenstown. The apartments are modern and the kitchen and bedroom are spaced far apart so while someone is sleeping the other can cook... more

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the Whislters accomodation and location so much that we came back for a second year for our skiing vacation. You really can't beat the 2 minute walk into the heart of Queenstown and the value for these self contained apartments. Management has also changed and are very friendly. You wont be dissapointed with... more

I stayed here for two nights in Feb 2007 with two members of my family and booked a two bedroom apartment. On checking in we were warmly greeted by the enthusiastic host who showed us to our room. We were staying in apartment number one which also doubled as a disabled unit which is very handy - it meant the... more

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 7 nights. The apartment had modern facilities eg. dishwasher, electric cooker, washing machine, stereo & dvd. Perfect! Heating or noise was not an issue however during our stay our apartment was not serviced. Service was an additional charge which we found out on the fourth night. It would have been nice for... more

My husband and I stayed at The Whistler mid-March 2005 for four nights. As mentioned by the previous reviewer, the apartments are more than adequate in terms of facilities however the major problem for us was the noise of a busy road. The balcony and living room face the busy road and it certainly detracts from the beautiful view. The... more

The nice and clean 1 bedroom apartment had a lot of amenities and was ready to be lived in. It had a fully stocked kithchen (with dishwasher), a living area with couch and TV, and a bathroom that contained a washer/dryer. There was also a balcony that overlooked Bob's Peak but since it also overlooked a busy street I was... more
