Great location. Thought it was a bit pricy (NZ $199/night) but I guess high season was starting, and it was the weekend - Queenstown was definitely buzzing. Modern, clean rooms and the lobby area is a hive of activity, so good energy in the hotel as well as an outdoor courtyard area. 2 mins to the lake. more

The Novotel is a great base for a stay in Queenstown as it is so central and allowed us to walk to anywhere easily. This hotel is of high standard. I got a good price for this place via Wotif. Our room is on the ground floor and has easy access to everything. It was clean, no weird smells and comfy beds. The location is perfect. However, there is no parking like the motels. Overall, very good. more
