Just came back from NZ and spent 5 days in the Novotel Queenstown. It was a wonderful stay from the minute we arrived. The location is perfect since its right on the lake and walking distance to practically everything. The room that we got had two full size beds so where perfect since we where traveling with children. The concierge... more

We were surprised by the high charge for a rollaway that we unexpectedly needed. The location is great and the rooms above average but this charge was too high.. more

Centrally located, rooms have fridges, which is nice for snacks/beer (minibar is pretty expensive). Very clean. Breakfast buffet is also expensive at $28 NZD, but our package included it, and it was a great way to start the day! Good food , large selection! more

Good location close to the lake and the centre of town but not right in the middle therefore has a quieter feel to it. Top tip - make sure you have a copy of your e-reservation when you check in to ensure you get the right standard of room allocated to you. We didn’t and were allocated a standard room... more

This hotel is excellent! We booked through the Travel Agent for last years trip but this year we are organising it ourselves. It's hard booking this from Australia because its so pricey to call them, they have been great and sending me emails with things to do for our next trip there in August. The service was great except for... more

we really enjoyed our stay at novotel. the rooms were wonderful, the food was excellent (we ordered room service the afternoon we arrived... the beef burger is truly delicious!). unfortunately my mom had trouble getting to their restaurant since she had to use the service lift which can only be operated by a staff member each time. otherwise the hotel... more

This was our first experience of hotels in NZ we stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of April. We have two children, so found the room a big cramped with 4 large suitcases. However, it was clean and comfortable with a great view of the gondola ride. We loved the location as you didn't need to drive into town,... more

We stayed for 5 nights. Found the location very good but thought the rooms were a bit small and would not suit more that two people. Great value Pizza's down stairs and the staff are all very friendly. They do have free internet down stairs on two new MAC's but its very very slow. If I was going back again... more

Stayed here two nights. I was very impressed that the concierge could park our massive camper van with no hassles. Location is perfect, room pleasant though nothing remarkable. We paid about NZ$350 for two nights, including breakfast. Breakfast buffet was good, but one one day it was full of tour groups so very noisy. more

I would have to give maximum credit to this hotel for the great location. So close to everyhing in town. We can just wander around and go back to the hotel for a quick rest. Go shopping, then go back to the hotel to drop off our stuff. Hungry? Restaurants are just a couple of blocks away. Rooms are nicely... more
