All in all i can understand stand what most of the reviews are saying but all in all there is nothing wrong with this place. Clean rooms. Well keep property. Clean. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was great! The staff are actually amazing. Certainly wouldn't want to walk to town, but they do have a shuttle to make this not a... More

View of the lake was OK; a huge tree covered 1/3 of the view, there was constant traffic and hotel guests walking past the window...room has old decor and really bad WiFi connection (staff knew about this and we had to be in the guest lounge to use the slow WiFi connection). Relatively close to Queenstown central.

We stayed here on a split visit whilst discovering the gorgeous surrounding areas of this beautiful part of the world. Queenstown is definitely a hot spot for arrivals and departures from millions of traveller's from all over the world.... but that's where it starts and finishes, it is catered for the tourist with very high prices for just about everything,... I only stayed here because I was going to a surprise birthday dinner for a friend at the Sherwood Manor next door and it was convenient. The check in was friendly and easy enough and the room had a view of the lake (and Frankton Road) but smelled a little odd when I walked in. Having said this, although the... More

We had a superior room which overlooked the lake but the room needed a revamp very tired, lots of steps and steep banks around the resort. One plus was the shuttle bus into Queenstown that run for 3 times in the morning 9 till then from 5 till 9 only one an hour with 7 places only. We ate twice... More

We requested a room with a view!! got stuck down in the bottom back units with a great view of the CAR PARK supposedly a garden view, the unit was very disappointing, the carpet extremely dirty with holes the hand basin all black with small cracks and cigarette burns, skirting in the bathroom needed a good scrub, the entire unit... queenstown is expensive and very popular this time of year. Our room was spacious and comfortable although we were disturbed for a short time by loud, boring USAns in the adjacent room. Food was good, service friendly but the free Internet was slow and kept dropping out. Reconnecting was a chore.

Not a walking distance to town,I had a triple beddings room, room was pretty old. Shower and toilet are old but usable. Internet was limited and slow. Staff was fantastic, the Resturante view was amazing. Overall was ok for a short trip stay.
