We were lucky enough to stay here with another couple last weekend, in a luxury two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views of the lake and mountains. The apartment was so spacious and had everything you could need - our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer! The complimentary cocktail hour was much appreciated and a great... More

Stayed 3 nites prior and 1 nite after our Milford Track hike. No problem for Louise and her staff re: our luggage. Louise was immensely welcoming and at least one person on her staff was always around to help w/ anything. Be careful w/ breakfast , though, so as leave room for lunch; plentiful , to say the least. At... More

Queenstown House is up the hill from the central business district of Queenstown. We liked the location because we were a bit out of the hubbub but within a maybe five minute walk of it. It’s a pretty steep walk down and back up but that was fine for us. In Queenstown there are so many people working here from... More

Louise spent time talking to us and advising on the local restaurants etc. she is a wonderful hostess who obviously spends a lot of time making sure everything is perfect for her guests. We were upgraded to... More

Really enjoyed staying at this special B & B. Very welcoming staff with a wonderful hostess. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfasts on both mornings, kindly made breakfast earlier for us on the morning of our trip to Milford Sound. Really enjoyed the cocktail hour meeting other quests, Louise made us all feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

As soon as we arrived at Queenstown House, Rebecca made us welcome and comfortable. Our room was a nice size, very clean, the bed extremely comfortable. I slept great while there. There were a few options for breakfast, and the two I tried were delicious. One morning we headed out extremely early, and Rebecca bagged up some croissants for us... More

Queenstown house is located on a hill offering superb views of the lake. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, advising on where to eat and things to do nearby (we were advised to go to Fishbone and this didn't disappoint - as the name suggests - excellent choice for seafood). Free nibbles and drinks are offered of an evening.... More

We had a wonderful weekend stay recently at Queenstown House. The lodge is walking distance from the centre of town which was perfect for us. Our host Louise really took care of us and we felt very comfortable & looked after. Louise helped us book our activities and gave us advice on what to do & where to eat. She... More

We spent 3 great nights at Queenstown House Boutique b&b. Louise as host is very welcoming & always offering advice on what to do, where to go & even what road is best to get up & down the short hill to town. The breakfasts are fantastic, rooms very comfortable & the views of the picture perfect lake from patio/bedrooms... More

The steep hill is a bit of a pull when coming back from the town, but the accommodation is very well appointed. A nice touch is when we were invited to join other guests for a drink on the house. It was a quick way to find out what others had enjoyed and what attractions were a must to visit.... More

Thank you for your review, Queenstown is an apline resort with a beautiful lake and in order to have the best views elevation is required, I try to remind all guests of the longer walk option enjoying the Queenstown Gardens on the way, longer but a gentler return sorry if I did not tell you. More
