A three night stay at this beautiful hotel confirmed that its location is second to none and that in most respects it should be more highly regarded by Trip Advisor visitors. The staff are well trained and well groomed, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we were well looked after. The room was exactly what you would expect from... more

If you want to indulge in a bit of luxury and you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for your accomadation, then St Moritz is the place to stay. If you can obtain a lake viewing room, then heaven awaits you every morning. The views are breathtaking. It is the equivalent waking up to someone super sexy!... more

We booked the St. Moritz as it sounded so nice and being so expensive - in fact more than any other hotel we stayed in during our 3 week trip to New Zealand touring the South and North Island - we thought it must be good. Indeed there is nothing wrong with it and the location is very good. Quite... more

Just can't understand how the previous reviewer could have been at the same superb property. The enthusiastic concierge Will was always there to greet every guest while we were there and undercroft parking was provided. As soon as you walk inside this 5-star hotel you can see why other reviewers rave about the St Moritz. The interior is stylish and... more

We have read so many reviews about this hotel, and were expecting a great place. On arrival, as mentioned by one of the other reviewers, found it odd that there was no concierge service. We had no assistance with our luggage and further more, we had to pay for parking, which did not include a valet service. The room was... more

We spent a week at the St. Moritz in early April, on our honeymoon. (From Melbourne, Australia) When we walked through the door of our apartment we were blown away by the luxury of it. And that 40" plasma screen :-) We had the most amazing view of Lake Wikatipu, the remarkables mountain range and over Queenstown. We found the... more

Went for 5 nights over Easter and this hotel was just magic-the beds are huge (super-king not just king) and so comfy. I have been looking at under-lays for at home since! We had a hotel room without a view which amazed us with its size-just real roomy. And the 'darkened aspect' of the rooms meant we slept quite late... more

We got a superb deal from Accor Hotels for Easter. The hotel is a pretty standard 5* and very good. Rooms are nice (we had a standard lake view room) and recently decorated. The bathroom is OK, but not brilliant (why do hotels aways have those horrible shower curtains?!!). There is also a bit of a lack of in-room amenities... more

This was a very central place to stay with just a short (up-hill) walk from town. It is worth paying extra for a Lakeview room. The view is wonderful! Lombardi's is a very good in-house restaurant, and the hot tub garden a magic way to relax for an hour or so, still enjoying the lake view! Rooms were bigger than... more

Even with so many great restaurants to try in town which is only a stones throw away, we decided to eat in as the restaurant had a great package which include two mains, entrees and a botle of wine for $120. We weren't disappointed, the food was as fabulous as the service. The hotel is only a hop, skip and... more
