My partner and myself arrived to Rydges Lakeland Resort and were absolutely blown away. To begin with we were able to check in hours before the actual check in time. This was great for us as we were very tired from the journey and the staff were only to happy. The staff whom were very friendly and helpful to deal... more

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe lakeview room and could not recommend this hotel more! The view was stunning and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is a bit old and not very soundproof so you can sometimes hear the people in the room next door. It is definately worth paying a... more

I have stayed in a superior lake room. The room is pretty old but very clean. The veiw from the room is very beautiful. The location is also nice just only about 5 minutes walking to the city center. This hotel provide good facilities such as sauna and spa pool that are so good to use them after finishing walking... more

We arrived at this beautifull looking hotel on the lakefront and truly a five minute walk from the central town area. The staff were nice and the foyer was clean. We were sent up to level 9, one lift wasnt working " this came as no suprise as the lifts seemed to date back to prehistoric times" and we had... more

We were very disappointed as although you are in a great location the hotel is very old and therefore had many problems. The hotel has 10 floors and only one lift was working - it took a long time waiting to get to your room. In the middle of the night (2.00am) the fire alarm went off and we were... more

Thank you for your comments. Firstly I must apologise for the early morning fire alarm, however I am sure you understand that this is out of our control and we must follow evacuation procedures to ensure safety of our guests. I have addressed your issues relating to the early servicing by Housekeeping and again thank you for bringing this to...

We stayed in a deluxe lake view for two nights.... We had a wonderful stay here - our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, and although the room was quite small, the views more than made up for it. The staff were very helpful and friendly with everything we needed and couldn't fault them at all. There was an... more

I had a lovely 2 night stay at Rydges Lakeside Queenstown as part of my tour of NZ. The views from my room was wonderful. Of all the Rydges hotels I've stayed in over the years, this is the best one so far. Pity about the roadworks outside the hotel though. Well done to the team at Rydges Lakeside Queenstown. more

We stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of August and we had a great stay. We didn't spend much time in our room. However, the rooms were great we were on the 2nd floor and our room was lovely, clean, tidy, well furnished and enough room for our family of 4. It had spectacular views over the lake, I... more

We had a lakeview room which was stunning. Each morning and evening we took about 50 photos! Recommend you leave the hotel meals alone and stroll up to the town which is approx 200 meters. Try Bobs Weigh for breakfast and Surreal for dinner. Check out Surreals funky menu and they do top steaks too!. If you are after something... more
