Situated on a hillock, it probably has the best view in town. Our rooms were lake facing and even the restaurant and gym have a 180 degrees view of the lake. Nice lobby, swimming pool, etc. Helpful staff (including the restaurant staff). There is a very convenient bus service into town from the front of the hotel. Recommended highly for... More

The best thing about this hotel is the definitely the staff. They were all most professional and obliging. Upon request, I was allocated a renovated room. Well fitted, BUT to get ventilation it was necessary to have the curtains open, as there is no aircon and the heating does not have a fan option. Luckily I had an exterior room... More

We stayed 2 nights in a superior Lake View room with two Queen beds. Great value. Truly remarkable views of the remarkables over the lake. Manager Kimberly was lovely and accommodating. All round friendly service. Highly recommended stay. Room may be a little tired but with such views and friendly service this is a recommended hotel a few clicks from... More

Was a lovely motel but stay was less enjoyable as a result of the bathroom fittings - the height of the handbasin was made for a person in excess of 6' tall, which I am certainly not and even standing on tip-toe it was still difficult to use it. Children would have no hope at all of using it. The... More

Very nice property with large rooms a little out of town, out of the noise. The real problem is that they cater to large tour groups who tend to dominate the restaurant at certain times of day with quite loud voices.

This was another hotel that was part of the tour package, another excellent choice. The hotel is slightly outside of Queenstown itself but there is an excellent bus service to the town centre. The views from the lounge area & restaurant over Lake Wakatipu are truly magnificent! There is a swimming pool & a large outdoor area to enjoy, again... More

After reading some reviews on here was a bit worried but we had no problems with our rooms and the bathroom was fine with none of the mould or bumps and bruises I figure the cheap rooms must have...beds were very comfortable, it was clean, and the shower was great. It is in need of a bit of an update... More

excelent hotel but the view from the resterant is one of the best I have seen. The facilities, room and food were all good. There is a ready bus service into town that calls at the hotel front door so leave the car in the park.

I work in the Architecture/Construction industry and so my standards are set pretty high. Paint chips and peeling wallpaper make me cringe. Our room (which was given to us when we checked in) was very dated. No architrave on the ceiling. Dark markings on creamy yellow painted walls, a damp smell in the wardrobe and a 'tiny' bathroom. The only... More
