The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with an amazing view. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was fantastic- very powerful. And there is a coin laundrette which is a good way to keep on top of the washing.

The view from the restaurant makes this place worth every penny. The room needed some attention as it appeared to have some damp especially in the bathroom and around the door but the place was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The number 9 bus goes from literally just outside the front door into town which means the... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. Willing to store luggage while hiking. Average exercise room with nice view. Rooms clean and fairly basic. Only buffet breakfast available, but it was very good with nice selections. The walk to town takes a few minutes and is down the hill. It is not a horrible walk, but could be long for someone not... The hotel has a great view and is away from the noise of downtown Queenstown. There is a bus that takes you to center of town. The staff is very friendly. The decor is very dated and worn. The hotel is clean but rooms are cleaned very late in the day. The view from the restaurant is just stunning.

The best thing about the hotel is the view. And the helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are from the 70s, it gets cold quiet fast, curtains don't close properly, mold in the bathroom, overall a dissapointing Interieur compared to other hotels of the accor brand. Also the bircher muesli on the breakfast buffe

We stayed just one night at this hotel. We usually stay at the Novotel in central Queenstown, but the prices have increased recently and it was asking more than what we wanted to pay on this last trip. So we decided to try the Mercure instead. The location is a bit out of central Queenstown, so not nearly as convenient,... More

Two night stay on 17 & 18/03/2015. Great hotel, great room, fantastic views over lake Wakatipu. Better than usual meal selection; good value with no need to head down the hill to the CBD for meals. Great breakfasts. Room spacious and comfortable, bed too cosy. Although approx. 10 mins by bus from the CBD, this is not a real disadvantage... More
