We were three couples with a kid each when we entered Queenstown in a mini bus. We had no bookings and found Millenium Hotel near the Centre of the town. We got a good deal as we needed three rooms for 6 nights each. The reception staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms are decent and the overall hotel is... more

Its a nice hotel with beautiful rooms and a great bar area where live music is played. Not at a walking distance from city centre but the hotel shuttle makes it convinient. Good view from the rooms. more

First of all, they couldn't locate our reservation so we were held up at reception for quite a while. The service at the reception was polite but patronising, particularly as we saw the manager leave his service counter to help a guest wheel his luggage from the reception to his hotel room, whereas we didn't even get an offer to... more

Stayed here because of a special rate package--trememdous value in our case including a quality buffet breakfast. We had an interiod studio suite on the ground floor--no view, but great access to a quiet garden and patio. Room was well furnished and ample ammenities. Location was great for us--close enough to restaurants and the towns central "action" (short walk) but... more

The good - room is large, clean and quiet with a nice view. The bad - they charge 68 cents a minute for the internet - am I buying the ISP at that rate? Apparently they cap it at $10 for two hours or $35 for 24 hours - what a rip off! I could have stayed at a motel... more

The purpose of our trip was our wedding anniversary. I booked online and got a grat price including a trip for 2 on the Dart River Safari which was a great trip. The lobby is nice looking but the rooms are a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Quiet and warm and comfortable but needing a do-up. Cooked... more

I stayed here 5 nights.Ok, first.the good ...They tried "seemed to be very helpful" in a patronizing way.The facilities are lovely. It's walking distance to the center. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. The pizza was great. The bad....rooms were average and beds not good..The banquet food was boring and uninspiring.Desserts were terrible. They lost my reservation. the ugly.....the internet.....Ok, if... more

My wife and I stayed here whilst on our honeymoon, having decided to make a massive detour and go to Milford Sound (Very glad we did!). Our approach to hotels/motels in New Zealand was to find somewhere with 3/4 motels close together, go in ask their cheapest rate and (unless we could see signs of a possible serial killer) go... more

We were slightly at odds about where to stay in Queenstown and in the end were drawn to what appeared to be a rather good rate at the Millennium which included breakfast. Location: Not bad, about a five to ten minute walk down the hill into town on the main road. Room: Pretty featureless but quite a respectable size. Service:... more
