One of the best places I have stayed in Queenstown. The view from the bar area and some rooms is gorgeous. Wake up and have breakfast while looking at the lake and the Remarkables. The room was clean and very upper market. The food was delicious even though its a bit pricey. Friendly staff and good service.

We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a spa bath and balcony with beautiful views of the lake and mountains, the bedroom also had a wall length window to show off the amazing views. The room was definitely worth the value, tidy and clean with all the mod cons, wish it had a ipod dock though. It's on the... More

Conviently located just up from the waterfront in Queenstown. On arrival I was processed without fuss and I found the administration staff efficient, friendly enough and then proceeded to my room via the bar. The facilities are adequate for our needs and location spectacular. The rooms as I had a change halfway through were clean and tidy and appropriate for... More

This hotel is located on the Lake and just outside the city centre. So it's very quiet & cosy. The hotel rooms are at several levels along the hillside, both above & below the lobby level and entrance to them are from different places,so dont assume( as we unfortunately did ) and ask for clear directions to your room ! The rooms... More

We recently stayed here for 7 days for work the rooms were clean the view was great the restaurant was lovely but their staff were terribly rude and had terrible service, even with a do not disturb sign on the door the woman doing the mini bar more then twice barged into our room without allowing us to open it... I read reviews before coming here and was somewhat worried about what we were in for. Well I had absolutely nothing to worry about! Views were absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly. There was NOTHING wrong with the heating - if anything it was too hot! The restaurant was lovely. Very very quick walk into town. They let... More

We stayed here for three nights, room 1517 with a view over the Remarkables, the lake and neighborhood. Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to city center. Room was spacious, clean, king size bed, furniture looks somewhat old and might need some renovation. It also had two armchairs and a table close to the window. Couldn't ask for anything... More

The Lakefront Copthorne Hotel was an extremely disappointing experience for a 4 star hotel. The staff were either rude, unhelpful or hopeless. They couldn't answer many basic questions or give any decent advice about Queenstown in general. They wouldn't even let us use the kitchen microwave to heat up some food and it took ages for them to get our... More

We stayed in a lakefront junior suiite. The weirdest thing about this room is that there was no sink, you had to get water from the bathroom. Liked the spa pool in our room, but noticed that if you wanted a spa and your room didn't have one, you had to book out one of the 2 shared hotel ones,... More

This luxury hotel located very close to Queenstown, but not exactly in the heart of town. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the heart of town. Although it is “lakefront” however not all the room has the lake view. we find it bizarre because we have to go to lower lever from the lobby.... More
