We stayed in a studio apartment. Very clean and well presented. It was nice and warm and very cosy for relaxing in the evening. The room had a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave. This was ideal for breakfasts and being able to make pack lunches etc. A bit limited for cooking a larger meal, but ideal for what we needed.... more

Like a lot of other travellers have stated, this is hotel provides a decent room at a great price. It is pretty much a 3 star hotel/lodge, but the value, location, and staff more than make up for that. The bathrooms were really clean, had HOT water, clean towels, but only a bar of soap and one packet of shampoo.... more

I've been traveling for 4 months staying mostly at 4 and 5 star hotels. The Lomond Lodge is probably a 2 or 3 star motel (?) - but I liked it equally as much as some of the most expensive places I've stayed. Why? GREAT location, friendly staff, fabulous lake and mountain views, microwave and fridge in the room, and... more

This Motel is very central   (3 minutes walk up steps from town centre) it is spotlessly clean and staff cannot do enough for you.  The rooms are very cosy with all mod cons you would expect e.g. microwave, fridge, utensils.  the have a place for storing ski gear as well and parking is are added bonuses.  Highly recommend this motel... more

Tripadvisor does it again ! ! The Lomond Lodge delivered everything expected of it - comfortable rooms, super location, great view over Queenstown, and most importantly friendly & helpful staff ! We had the 'ground' level room (actually up 1 flight of stairs from reception) at front right corner with lake view - the rooms are not ultra modern or... more

After the horrid experience that was Thomas' Hotel, this place was amazing. We paid $NZD139 and it was worth every cent. Staff were amazing, as was the room. Quite modern, bed was great, bathroom brilliant. Highly recommend to anyone. more

This is a good place to stay. It is incredibly convenient, being a stroll form town, clean and comfortable and warm (very important in Queenstown winters) The views are undoubtedly some of the best in the town. The staff were friendly - nothing was too much trouble. While the rooms were a little smaller than I expected, the bedding was... more

We have just had 8 nights in the offsite apartments managed by Lomond Lodge. One of the units was very quite and has amazing views, just wonderful to sit and watch the Remarkables. The other was quite noisy, overlooking Shotover St and unfortunately with a club next door... the "duff, duff' bass of the music went on most nights till... more

3 weeks ago a group of 6 of us traveled into Queenstown and stayed at Lomond Lodge for 3 nights. The place was clean and comfortable and they have a washer and dryer if you need to do a wash. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and it was great. The owners were awesome and very helpful... more

We stayed at Lomond Lodge for four days and it was the perfect! If you are looking for a comfortable room to put on a change of clothes and sleep then this is the place to stay. The lodge was only a very short walk into town and was just down the road from the cable car at Queenstown hill.... more
