I stayed 5 nights in the lodge section of the hotel. Every morning I was greeted by their friendly staff and had a good selection of food for their continental breakfast. The room is cleaned and bed made on a daily basis, with the same for the shared bathroom facilities. There was a small problem with our Agoda booking but... More

You must have a solid base for your holiday. We had one at the Melbourne Lodge. It was clean, tidy and warm ( very important in July!). The staff were very friendly and access to rooms was good. The room was made up and cleaned every day. For those of you who use Barter Card, this is an excellent opportunity... More

Having been screwed around by booking companies, paying for a trip that was in the end not booked at all for us. It was refreshing to find Melbourne Lodge. Plenty of room for 4 people, private ensuite, and TV in the room, it was amazing value for money at $62 per person between our group compared to the facilities you... More

Just spent a week at Melbourne Lodge and were so impressed with the excellent value for money. 5 minute walk to town centre, free wifi, spacious double room with lake and mountain views. The rooms are contemporary with quality furnishings and linen. Being able to get up to a prepared breakfast in the quaint dining area over looking the lake... More

I had a great stay at Melbourne lodge. I was upgraded from the single room with shared bathroom to an unsuited room at no extra charge. The unsuited room was great, big comfortable bed, warm, clean. The location is great, very close to central Queenstown. The staff were always helpful and friendly. Thanks Melbourne lodge for a great stay!

This hotel was a 5 minute walk from the main street of Queenstown (although be aware that walking home is a little longer as you're trudging up a fierce hill -- de rigueur in Queenstown of course!!). Everything was clean, cosy and comfy, and the staff were SUPER NICE. (Seriously.) The room was spacious and very clean. Because we were... More

The location was just right with quite neighbourhood and only 5 minute walk to town center. The staff there was friendly. Rooms are clean and warm. The lounge has a fantastic view of the lake and the mountain, which always enlighten us during breakfast.

Finding a hotel when you arrive in town can be stressful and my experience with Melbourne Lodge was anything but that. Anton at the reception was extremely helpful and pleasant from my arrival through checkout. The rooms are clean, comfy, warm and well equipped with anything you might need. Complimentary breakfast is offered as well as unlimited free wifi which... More

I have been staying in Melbourne Lodge Bed & Breakfast for 5 days and I'm really happy with the room and the location wise. Even thought there are some renovation going on (during day time-all the room in 1st floor has been renovated) but it was still clean! It is just located right behind street of blue peaks lodge.
