Close to the town centre easy walking distance with a short climb up the road to the Lodge. Outstanding view from the TV lounge down the lake. Nice comfortable clean accommodation. Good breakfast with plenty of coffee.

We stayed at this B and B for 10 days and loved every minute of it. It has a new jacuzzi which you can use for a small fee and the views from the Balcony after a days skiing are breathtaking. The breakfast was an excellent surprise, its a continental with awesome toast, serial and coffee served with a smile.... More

I have stayed at the lodge 3 times now and it has been great each time. They have renovated the rooms. The morning continental breakfast is a real treat with friendly staff. Very clean and the gardens are really nice. Just a short walk into town, but like most places the walk home is uphill

Stayed here for two days and was sold on the promise of a fulll all you can eat buffet breakfast. Was put off by high price but excused it on the basis that we would be fed a lovely buffet all you can eat start to the day . Unfortunately a continental breakfast all you can eat is what they... More

First of all Robert your the only one I think interprets a Buffet Continental Breakfast as being Bacon & Eggs, At no time were you told it was a full breakfast, You made the booking on booking.com yourself and their site does not state a cooked breakfast, this was your own interpretation and your only.we advertise a Buffet Continental breakfast... Stayed 6 nights whilst on a snowboarding holiday in Queenstown, NZ. Room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus and the variety offered at the daily breakfast was excellent. The short stroll into central Queenstown was very convient as a solo traveller. Staff were very nice and accomodating as was the resident dog 'Benji' who has... More

Stayed 5 nights with a friend on a skiing holiday. Location is five minutes walk from the centre of town. The bus stop is less than two minutes walk away. Here you can board shuttles to the various mountain resorts as well as boarding the cheap airport bus. Without overcomplicating the review, Melbourne Lodge is clean, well run and good... More

Melbourne Lodge has an excellent location to the centre of Queenstown. We made the 3min walk every night for dinner. A three bedroom room had ample space for us and our snowboarding gear. Serviced every day. Breakfast every day. Very convenient for those wanting to get up early everyday for snowsports. Very friendly staff. Easy to talk to and all... More

This place performed well above its star rating. Very friendly/helpful staff, great (free!) brekky in the morning, and a stroll to town/ski bus/attractions. Very homely feel with fantastic views from the main lounge area. No regrets what so ever, and would recommend to all.

We stayed at the B&B for 7 nights in a Quad room (4 single beds). The room was large and better than we expected for the price, beds were comfortable and all had electric blankets. The room was kept clean daily and all towels and used glasses always replaced. The free breakfast was also great there was a good selection... More

We only stayed one night here on our final night in Queenstown and wish we found it earlier - it was so close to the town, has an amazing view of the mountains and lake from the Guest Lounge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning, clean rooms and free Wifi. I would definitely... More
