We found this place by chance as we shopped around to find for an affordable accommodation in Queenstown. When the friendly receptionist showed us the room, we found it really clean, roomy, and cheap for the 4 of us. This motel is located really close to downtown, if you don't mind the hill. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is quiet there. The location of this motel is excellent! Not far from downtown Queenstown yet really quiet as it is in residential area and located right next to a catholic church. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the room is great. Really value for money. Will stay here again when I come back... more

We arrived late, they were really kind to leave the key at the desk thus we could help ourselves to our room. The room was cozy and clean. The next morning we had cooked breakfast in their dining room, my eggs were done perfectly. The receptionist was really helpful and has really good knowledge of the local activities in Queenstown.... more
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were the ones that arranging my whole trips in Queenstown. The location is great, it's really close to town but not on the main road so it's really quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was really affordable for a motel in Queenstown. We will not be returning to this place. The only good thing was the view of the lake over a flat roof. This was in a 2 bedroomed/suite which I think my 18 year old daughter and her mates may find acceptable. We arrived after 16.00 so we could not cancel the following night without charge. If we had been approached by the guests re their concerns we would have tried to rectify them. As this was not conveyed to our staff we were unable to address these concerns. As we are a franchise of Choice Hotels we are inspected on a regular basis and must meet their rigorous standards. The motel is not new so...

The unit in question was not part of the motel, but privately owned. We are managers of the unit but have no control over repairs or otherwise. We have now informed the owners that it reflects badly on our motel so we will not be offering this unit to our guests.
It was a very pleasant stay. The studio is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There's plasma TV and private balcony. WiFi is available in the room, too. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They booked and arranged all my activities in Queenstown. Very easy process for me. They have a lounge room that has a spectacular view of the lake.... more
When we arrived at the "comfort (sic) inn" at 8.30pm our keys were at reception waiting for us- unlike the staff. What we were greeted with was run-down and dirty- the huge stain on the carpet outside the door to our room a sign of things to come! We entered a room that STANK like stale cigarettes, another huge stain... more
