It's been an extrodinary stay for us. Quality of room and facility no worse than a five star hotel. Warm and delicious breakfast prepaired by Sue, the best hostess ever, and resourceful infomation on local area. Would come back whenever we are in Queenstown.

We spent 3 nights at The B&B on the Hill during our recent trip around the South Island. It was without doubt our favourite place to stay. We stayed in The Lake room and the views from the room and from the shared lounge were breathtaking. The room was really comfortable with a lovely en suite bathroom. Sue was a... More

This is the ideal spot with breathtaking views over the lake and within easy walking distance of the town. The rooms are large and comfortable and you also have use of a sitting room. Breakfasts are superb with homemade muesli, fresh fruit and delicious jams. Susan is a very helpful hostess and provides plenty of information for her guests together... More

Our room was cozy and clean with a Queen bed, mini fridge, nice and bright bathroom with a great shower. The room looked out to the front of the house and there was a nice patio outside. The living/kitchen area had fantastic views of the lake! There is also a nice big balcony. Continental breakfast consisted of homemade muesli, fresh... More

The views from this B&B are simply stunning. If that isn't enough of an attraction, then Sue's thoughtful little touches - the things she feels that she would need if staying in a B&B, like a multi-point extension cable - make this one perfect. Lovely warm croissants for breakfast, helpful tips - all reasons why we will be back. She... More

As a server in a restaurant said, "How can you have a bad day in Queenstown?" However, our stay at the B&B on the Hill made a perfect start to our New Zealand trip. The view is amazing, our room was spacious and our host, Sue, made us feel right at home. The 20-minute trek to the town center is... More

Our stay with Sue Wilson at her superb home, high on the hill overlooking the town and water, was just a total treat. The view will take your breath away. She has done a brilliant job renovating the home, and we so appreciated how crisp, clean and modern it was. Our lake facing room was supremely comfortable with everything we... More

I recently stayed at this stunningly located B&B.The breakfast with homemade muesli well worth getting out of bed for. It was indeed a home from home made by the owner Sue, who with her local knowledge made my visit memorable. We recently had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the B and B on the Hill in Queenstown. To be honest, we were feeling a little sad after leaving Wanaka, which we'd completely fallen in love with, and where we'd had a great stay at a fabulous b and b - well it turns out we need not have... More
