Margie and Ned are truly exceptional hosts with accommodation to match - stylish yet comfortable and with stunning views over the Cardrona ski range. During a three night stay we made repeated use of the spa pool, gorgeous guest lounge and the mountain bikes with which a circuit of the nearby Lake Hayes is an absolute ‘must do’. A delicious... This was our second time staying at Bearsden, we just couldn't stay away! Margie and Ned are the friendliest hosts we've ever had, constantly going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible... making sure the hot tub is at the perfect temperature, having the indoor and outdoor fires ready to use and keeping the whiskey... We stayed 4 days at Bearsden and had an exceptional stay. The house is so well placed with easy access to Arrowtown and Queenstown and all the facilities locally available. Margie and Ned are superb hosts with a fund of local experience and information on all the recreational and touring activities in this part of New Zealand. The room, bed... More

Well, you need not read my review of the fabulous Bearsden B&B...all you need do is scroll down and read the other 71 people that gave it 5 stars... but you're here so let's start with mine. The other B&Bs that we stayed at complimented our NZ experience. Bearsden enhanced our experience and endeared us to the owners Margie and... More

Spent five nights at Bearsden in late February and so enjoyed the beautifully quiet setting nestled between the Remarkables and Coronet Peak, fabulous views in every direction. This is an ideal location for hiking and exploring the wonders and delights of the region. Margie and Ned are such gracious hosts, always attentive and full of great suggestions for enjoying Queenstown... More

My wife and I stayed at Bearsden for a few nights this past November while on our honeymoon. The property, amenities, room, our meals, and most of all our host all merit a perfect review. We've stayed at many B&B's around the world and can say confidently that Bearsden is a fantastic example of what a great B&B should be.... More

For our last destination in New Zealand this was a real highlight off our trip. The accommodation is very comfortable and well appointed, but what really makes it is the hospitality of hosts Margie and Ned (not to mention their gorgeous black labrador. We would recommend it to anyone.

Our best accommodation during our trip in New Zealand. Beautiful rooms with tasteful furniture. Nicely located in a green area 15 minutes’ drive from Queenstown. Great variety of breakfasts, fresh fruits. Margie and Ned made the difference. We felt like being guests at a friend’s place. We had lovely chats with them during mornings at breakfast. They gave us plenty... More

Our 2 night stay provided us with a well appointed, clean bedroom and good breakfasts. We particularly liked having the lounge area to share with friends who were staying in the other bedroom. The views from the garden are beautiful and Margie and Ned are welcoming and helpful. Would recommend.
