The checklist for suitable accommodation for my 83 parents visiting Queenstown was extensive - must be quiet, easy access for limited mobility, private, homely and short commute to everything on offer in Queenstown. Bearsden ticked every box and more. Margie and Ned treated my aging parents like family, thoughtfully attending to their every need in a sensitive and professional manner.... More

My mom and I very much enjoyed our stay at Bearsden. It was the perfect first stop in New Zealand. The room was well set up and our choice of breakfast each morning was delicious! The hosts also provided the ideal level of interaction - interesting conversation and suggestions during breakfast but also letting us feel like we had our... More

We spent a relaxing three nights at this welcoming BnB in a beautiful, quiet setting. We were upgraded free of charge to larger room with air conditioning and would recommend this if available. Each morning we were treated to a 3 course breakfast including hot meal made of local (often home grown) ingredients, fresh juice and coffee. The host was... More

My mum, friend and I recently stayed at Bearsden for a night whilst in Queenstown. Had a fantastic stay, beautiful dinner in nearby Arrowtown topped off by a relaxing spa before bed. Ned & Msrgie really looked after us and we had a great breakfast. Highly recommend a stay here Valma, Helen and Jackie - Auckland NZ 😊

We chose Bearsden B and B because it was out of the city. We only spent 1 night since we we're traveling the West side. Margie and Ned we're lovely hosts. The grounds we're beautiful. Margie and Ned cooked up a hearty breakfast and had great conversation with them about the sights and what's up ahead during our travel. We... More

In late September 2015 my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Bearsden B&B near Queenstown in NZ. We used Trip Advisor to research where to stay. We wanted somewhere close to Queenstown and Arrowtown, but we didn't want to stay in the centre of each. We wanted something that didn't feel like a hotel, or didn't feel... More

What a gorgeous place to stay if you are visiting Queenstown. Margie and Ned are amazing hosts and great cooks and you feel really well looked after during your stay. The property is lovely and private; surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and Coronet Peak feels just a stones throw away. A great getaway - I'll definitely be back!

Having stayed here last year July 2014, I was happy to return in July 2015. The welcome and the kindness that I remembered from the previous year were just as warm and just as genuine second time round. The service is second to none. I cannot recommend Bearsden too highly and I have no hesitation in so doing.

Hello again Thank you so much for your review. It was great to see you back here again and thank you also for the lovely wine. We look forward to seeing you again, if not here, then over there. All the best and go the All Blacks. (That's NZ's Rugby team for those that don't know) Cheers Margie More
