I has apartment 205a, which was just fabulous. The apartment itself is the same level as the car park and looks straight out onto the lake with an unimpeded view (i.e. no buildings, not even low level ones are in front of it). The apartment itself is large, finished to a high standard and is very well equiped. Highview itself... More

We'd previously looked at apartments on the airport side of town, a little way out from the centre, so were delighted to find this place on the other, quieter side, within such easy reach of town, the lakeside and the gondola up the mountain. An apartment with a view is well worth paying extra for, and the kitchen and bathroom... More

Great location, just a 10 minute walk into town yet far enough to be nice and quiet, the rooms are okay, but for the price, well worth it, we didn't have a view though but was happy we could even actually get a booking during the busy season, the only minor flaw was the tv in the room, extremely small... The rooms are lovely an spacious with an air of cleanliness but the couches an chairs look tired with stains. Even a couple of new unmarked cushions would be a big improvement! The rooms badly need re painting with cracking and multiple markings complete with squashed Mosquitos on the wall plus a bathroom wall socket falling off. I raised my... More

We booked 2 nights at the Highview Apartments through Booking.com and got a special rate on a studio, which was very spacious, clean, modern, and with free Wifi, but did not have any view. The apartment also lacked any real kitchen facilities, e.g. coffee maker, sink, frig, microwave, but we ate all our meals out so it wasn't really a... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our Studios. If you had looked in the cupboard above the bench you would have found a microwave and a cupboard under the bench was an under bench fridge. Hopefully our staff would of mentioned this if you had asked as we have found most guests like to explore the rooms themselves.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Highview Apartments for 5 nights in March 2015. This place was exactly what we expected. The views were amazing since we had a 3rd floor (Rm 301) that overlooked the lake and the Remarkables. Note that there is a 301A and a 301B. One overlooks the lake and the Remarkables, and one overlooks... More

Fantastic stay. Room was not ready when we arrived, however it was well worth the wait. Clean, spacious room with an outstanding panoramic view, just the best, after our flight from Australia. Bit of a steep hill home after supper, especially for a slightly older couple.Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, 5 star thanks to you all.

We had a 7 night stay in room 309a. Outstanding views. Short walk into town away from the hustle and bustle of queenstown. Bit of a hill on the way back but ok. Bathroom design isn't the greatest as water splashes on the ground however this doesn't take it away from the awesome room. Would highly recommend and would stay... More

We stayed in Queenstown for five nights, all of which were spent at Highview. Literally one of my favorite moments of our entire trip was when we walked into our apartment and saw the completely unobstructed view of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables (we reserved a lake view room - absolutely worth the extra cost). The place was big, clean,... More

We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Great welcome from the friendly and helpful receptionist (Julie?). There was everything you could need including a washer/dryer which was very useful. The view was fantastic and more than made up for the fairly steep climb up the hill. You just need to be reasonably fit! The only addition that would... More
