we stayed 2 nights in a private double en suite room, our first time in a backpackers lodge, we were happy enough with the clean room, good value for money and good location for town. Dan was brilliant, very friendly and helpful. We recommend The Aspen Lodge

I stayed two nights at Aspen Lodge and had a perfect stay. A brand new HUGE double bed was delivered the day I got there, so I had a great night sleep in a very comfy bed :). I stayed in a private single room with shared bathroom. The bathroom was directly opposite the room and shared with only one... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. Had a double room and shared bathroom with one other...one of the most comfortable beds of my trip ! In separate building from the dorm rooms, the kitchen was spotless. Everyone was friendly and Dan was extremely pleasant and really helpful...wish I could have stAyed longer...would recommend !

This hostel is great for those who don't want a party hostel - quiet rooms that are well maintained. I stayed in a twin room and the beds were comfy, warm and there was never a line to the bathroom. My only complaint would be they need to fix the hobs and oven in the second house (where the private... More

I've been there over new years and got the very last bedroom ( a double bed room ) for my self , it was a little bit to expensive for me but it was very comfortable. Next time when I go there then I have to look for a cheaper bedroom ( earlier booking ).

This simple and functional backpackers is light airy and always clean. Plenty of kitchen space. Two minutes walk from all the action and crowds, yet quiet. Really helpful friendly staff. A very pleasant, functional and good value base from which to enjoy queenstown's many delights.

For me, it's the best one in Queenstown, because the beds are in good conditions, all the backpackers is very clean everywhere you are. The internet is good and not so expensive, they are two differents kitchen, one is open 24h, and the other one is open from 7Am until 11 Pm. All persons at the reception are very friendly.... More

Staying at Aspen Lodge was so enjoyable. Mandy is so incredibly friendly, and the rooms are wonderful for the price you're paying. Will definitely be recommending to all visitors to Queenstown, and I'll definitely be back!

I would recommend anyone who is visiting Queenstown to stay here. Friendly, welcoming and exceptionally comfortable - really comfy beds and lounge areas! Most rooms are ensuite too so they have their own toilet and shower, this is always a bonus. Really great value for money, given all that you get, I was suprised that it wasn't more expensive, it's... More
