I stayed here for a night while I was in Queenstown and enjoyed my stay, great location as it's really close to the town centre. It was modern, clean, comfy, the views were great and the rooms were lovely. The staff were nice and really helpful and were doing a 'film night' the night I was there. There is free,... More

I had a good stay here, staff were friendly, it was nice and warm. Good views of the lake, nice and peaceful. Only a short walk to the centre. I would stay again if I come back to Queendtown. Nice to have lockers next to your bed.

I stayed 4 nights in a 6 bedroom dorm with ensuite. Location was good, the views from the hostel were amazing and we were able to borrow bicycles from the hostel for free for a few hours. Unfortunately the bedroom was cold, the bathroom was ok - not gross but not really clean either. We had horrible roommates for the... More

We stayed in a private twin room for 1 night. Some of the private double and twin rooms only have access via the dorm rooms. Bathrooms are also shared with the dorms. The private rooms are rather small. The room, kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is... More

We stayed in the Bumbles for 4 nights in a private twin room. The common area is nice. The kitchen is well equipped and there are many refrigerators where you can put your food to cooked during the period that you are staying there. The room was ok and the shared bathroom as well. It is very near from the... More

Firstly - the location is good, right at the edge of town, just minutes walk into eateries and shops. The view from Bumbles is also lovely. Nice kitchen with a good communal area. The rooms are clean but really cold as the heater is placed far from the beds and I find myself crawling into a very cold bed every... More

Fell in love with this backpackers-not only for the great location, chilled out vibe, and great facilities but the staff are absolutely amazing. Fiona and Nicky go out of their way to help you and make sure you enjoy your stay in QT. Definitely recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a relaxed place to stay.

Bumbles is a fun place to stay. The common living area has terrific views of the lake. The rooms are neat and clean. The double we stayed in did not have much natural light, but the dorms have good views. The kitchen is basic (bring your own coffee press ) no oven, but plenty of stove top cooking facilities. The... It is unfortunate that none of our double rooms have a lake view. The best views are found in the dorms and communal living room. There is a small oven in the kitchen - it's on the counter (separate from the stove tops). Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for taking time to write a review. More

Stayed on a 6 bed dorm for several days. Very good matras and clean rooms. The communal kitchen was good, the living room cozy. Bumbles is very close to the harbour and shops. A bunk costed about 31 NZ Dollars. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Bumbles do a great job in providing what you'd want from a hostel experience - Everything is pretty clean and has most of the stuff you'd want. Quite a laid back hostel so don't go here expecting an extension of your Queenstown party. However there is a friendly vibe there, and its got great views over the lake is very... More
